Basically I had an idea where I was thinking, what if all the teams had their own home run derby to themselves. Well I decided to put the idea to the test with this thread 30 Teams 30 Home Run Derby's! I also did this for another reason also. I wanted to see on each team who was the home run king in the home run derby. Now you're probably thinking, this guy is so stupid, obviously the guy at the top of player selection in home run derby is the home run king and their is no need to do this. That is true, but I did was a test one with the white sox and Alexei Ramirez won. that's where this idea came from. Now I want to get you guys involved with this so I'm going to let you guys pick the team and the players who are going to be in the home run derby. Here's how:
Rules
-Every week I will be doing a home run derby on a team.
- I will be doing the actual home run derby on Saturday so expect the write-up on Saturday night.
-I will be picking the first team to start this thing but then after that it's all you guys.
Rules on how to pick teams and players
I'm going to explain this in a scenario. Say, I pick the white sox for the home run derby. I'm only allowed to pick one player from the white sox only. You may only vote once over the course of the week. On Friday I will pick the most top 8 requested players and they will be in the derby. Now say I picked Adam Dunn to be in the home run derby and he got in. whoever the person you picked to be in the derby is also the person you expect to WIN the derby. If you guess the right person, you can pick the next team I will do the home run derby on AND you can pick one person from that team to be in the derby NO MATTER WHAT. So say Adam Dunn won, I can pick the next team to do the home run derby (which is the angels) and one person from the team(mike trout) That's basically it! (Note: If two or more people guess the right person, you must pm the people to decide what team and player your going to choose. If an agreement can't be made, I will pick the just the team and the voting will decide the eight.) Well, that's about it so now THE FIRST TEAM TO HAVE THEIR OWN HOME RUN DERBY IS.....
Get to voting and I will decide the winners on Friday!
