Just got my EA Sports class action lawsuit settlement check

Signed up for this quite a long time ago, but anyway $55.41 came in the mail today. It is a real small envelope that you tear off the edges. Looks like Junk mail. But a nice surprise. Keep your eyes out for it if you signed up too.

Yes, at least I think thats what the suit was. I got my check as well.

Yes, I remember when I filled out the form, I listed all the NCAA football games I had purchased over the years.

I think I roughly got $5 to $7 back for each game I bought.

I can't even remember how long ago it was that I filled it out or precisely what it was for. I just know I told them all the NCAA games I had bought. There was a thread on it a while back in here.

I was lucky I didn't pitch it as junk mail because outside of the perforated edges, it really just looked like junk.

I work in a bank and I overheard one of the customers talking about the check they were cashing was from Madden. I didn't know you would get so much back from the lawsuit.

Got mine yesterday for $142.59, apparently they awarded more money to people with PC, PS2, or original XBox games compared to PS3 XBox 360, and Wii gamers.

I hear ya, my dumb*** did not sign up either. I have had every single NCAA Football game ever made , starting with Bill Walsh`s College Football on Sega Genesis.

Seriously though, I can't believe there was actually any money left to be dispersed, normally all that gets chewed up by the lawyers. I guess I should have said I had every single EA sports game ever made because I didn't have to provide any documentation or anything. So much for being honest, I could have had well over $100.

Having every game wouldn't have made too much of a difference. The settlement maxed out at 8 games per person.
