Excellent. I really wanted this matchup.

I'm kinda rooting for the spurs though just because the clock is running and I want Duncan/ Pop to end on top

Sheesh man at least give it a day. You don't have the schedule or anything and the post is really dull.

Its a dull way to bring in the finals series.

This is going to be a quality Finals. The Heat and Spurs are about the only two teams that could give the other a run for their money and now they are facing off for it all. Giving the all the story lines from last year with the Ray Allen 3 pretty much robing the Spurs of the title last time around, I hope for a lot of chippy play and 6 to 7 intense games.

I predict a great, great Finals.

                        Possibly another game 7.

Spurs are better than they were last year, in my opinion. Ginobili is healthy, Leonard is just better, Diaw is in shape and playing much better, Splitter is better. Just have to make sure Parker is healthy.

The Heat are basically the same team as last year, but without Mike Miller to hit some big 3's for them. Still, it's going to be a damn good series. Interested to see if Oden gets some run, to help contend with Duncan/Splitter

Miami wins in game 6 on their home floor. Lebron wins finals MVP.

I'm sorry I'm excited for one of the greatest rematches in nba history? If you witnessed what transpired the last series in 2013, then this needs no introduction. Excuse me for sounding dull and can't contain my enthusiasm, had no idea the internet police didn't approve of me posting something of relevance in the NBA section of the forum.

I'm sure most would understand why I was so excited to write a thread about this as soon as thunder game had ended.

lets just enjoy this one. if it's that much of a big deal for you to know the schedule, i'll edit it in soon.

Only including years after the 70s for numerous reasons:
                              72-73(Lakers-Knicks)
                              78-79(Sonics-Bullets)
                              82-83(Lakers-76ers)
                              97-98(Jazz-Bulls)

Were the only 4 times since the 70s we've had back to back years of the same finals matchup. Other than 97-98 Bulls, all other defending champs lost in the 2nd finals matchup between the teams. So this finals really has some huge things going into it, Heat 3peating,being in finals 4 straight years, having same finals matchup 2 straight years. So many stories all in 1 series.
