I'm not the biggest Madden fan, NCAA Football was my game, but still need my football video game fix every once in a while. I have Madden 16, and just want people's opinions on whether or not it's worth it to shell out $60 for 17.

I like it very much. It has it issues, but probably the best Madden I've played in years.

At this point I would wait for black Friday when everyone will be selling it for around half the price.By that time they'll likely have another patch out that will clean up some of the remaining issues that are keeping it from being that much of an upgrade from '16.Comment

Its fun in terms of gameplay and CFM has improved a little bit but it's still a ways from where it should be (needs detailed & off ball injuries, true detailed GM mode - hello 2k, proper trench warfare etc). It might be the last in its CFM generation (please say so) and will likely be moving to a new engine for M18.
If you can get it cheap, defo worth it.Comment
