2K18 MyLeague plans?

What's everyone's plans for MyLeague? Rebuilds, expansions, whatever. Share and discuss! Who knows might give each other some ideas.

I tend not to play MyLeague until after the first patch (not day one but the next one) so in the interim I'll probably do a fantasy league.

I like doing legend leagues and having the actual legend teams will make it easier (as well as the new duplicate filter). Place the top 20-30 players from the current NBA onto free agency and then replace existing teams with legend teams.

Now that they fixed CAP , I'm ready and can't wait.

I'll probably run with a bad team and build them up. Or, a young and up coming team. I'll make a few Draft classes. Throw in some great players. I'm more excited this year than last

I think I will go with the Spurs to bring one last championship for Manu, Tony and Pop, that would be my goal for the first year, after that, don't really know which way will i go, but considering i have Kawhi, probably trying to compete year in and year out. I will not be doing big changes, i want to keep that Spurs loyalty tradition, i hate when someone takes a team and do like 5 trades day 1, i will probably just polish a roster around the edges, try to bring a ggood point guard, but really lokng forwardf to it

I’ll play like I always do. “Commissioner” mode where I just follow all the league action, play whatever games I want, make trades, etc.

I love watching the game world unfold instead of controlling a single team.

1 online myleague fantasy draft with some buddies and my offline my league with my own custom roster. Control my awful Knicks but sonewhat oversee the whole league.

NBA 2K14 : Had the Warriors, drafted Paul Potter, a 7 footer SG, he was probably the best player I've drafted. Won 1 championship with them. It was a good run.

NBA 2K15 : Had the Celtics. Won back to back championships and Harvey Winter was the main guy for me, 95 overall, SF, he was incredible. It was fun because of the Nets picks. But a little bit too easy.

NBA 2K16 : Took the Clippers. It was great, but I didn't win a championship. The guy I drafted that i really liked was Louie Craig, a SF, he was not clutch tough and it cost us in the playoffs.

NBA 2K17 : Took the Lakers, then the Knicks, then the Mavericks. Probably my worst year. I did not find the right match for me and I had too much Franchises going on at once.

NBA 2K18 : I want a real challenge, so I'm going with the Nets. Big market, it's time to put them back in contention. First year will be tough, but I plan to build through the draft. Plan on doing a lineup of Lin - Russell - Crabbe - Booker - Mozgov for the 1st year. Challenge/Building by the draft, I think that's the 2 main components that will make this franchise really great for me this year. Can't wait !

I do fantasy draft MyLeagues with legend players mixed with current players. I grew up on 80s and 90s NBA, so it brings back a lot of memories using the older guys.

I have so many things I want to do i have no clue how I will do them as I always get to wrapped up into whatever I pick first to do Anything else.

As of now I am deciding between 76, lakers, pelicans and cavs

I just started a 'commissioner' style MyLeague on 2k17 and really enjoyed it so will probably do that with week 1 rosters.

While I wait for that I think I will try and re-build the Nets only playing rivalry and TV games. At the end of the season I will salary dump players for picks and try and move up in the draft with some packages of picks to get slightly better position.

I think I might also do one with the Cavs and see what that Nets pick can get me in the upcoming draft, while still contending. I think to make it a bit challenging I think I will edit LeBron's loyalty to give me a real worry that he might just move to a different team - maybe I'll save this for the new MyGM mode tho coz I think I like the balance of taking a good team that is outmatched in the finals and trying to make them dominant.

Definitely will do a Bulls MyGM tho, my fav team and we're a hot mess right now, I think one good draft and off-season and we could compete in the weak East tho at least get in the playoffs in year 2 and try and get a ring year 3. I smell a big rivalry with the Celtics brewing.

My bros and I do a 36 team myleague, with all time teams and legend teams mixed in with current players. We certainly don't play the best brand of basketball, but mixing old time players with new ones is a great time

I like controlling two teams, one eastern conference, one western, it makes for a more fun experience imo.

I'm going to control the Lakers (try to sign LeBron) and have Lonzo and Bron bring a title to LA before LeBron retires. The Lakers are an easy rebuild.

I also want a more challenging rebuild as well, has to be an Eastern conference team preferably nice colors. Sixers was my original pick but they're like the Lakers (an easy rebuild) I would consider Brooklyn but I don't like their jerseys, The Bulls could be a fun one, but I also like controlling teams that don't have much success (titles) in their history so it's more fulfilling when they finally win, so I feel the Hawks are the team to go with.

My brother and I do this 36 league where we each take 3 expansion teams and try to build their legacies with varying styles each. We make up personalities for the players and GOATs. There usually end up being cases for multiple GOATs just like nowadays in the NBA. I'm excited because of the custom gears and hair changes in myLeague since it'll make the later years more realistic

If I pick the game up, my two MyLeagues will be:

1) Clippers

My own favourite, who lost CP3 this summer. Retooling around Blake will be fun

2) Bulls

Building around my guy Lauri. Making him into a all-time great is a challenge I want to succeed in

Last year, I created my own league with original jerseys, teams, logos, etc. It was fun. Then, I re-did the NBA with a fantasy draft and updated, new logos and such. Like a rebrand. Also fun.

This time, I think I'm gonna do a MyLeague (always full commissioner styles) with the All-Time Teams and see how it plays out.

I'll probably have a side league where I commish and watch things unfold. If the all-time teams one gets dull, I'll figure something else out.

I might do an online MyLeague for the first time. I usually do a fantasy draft class and rebuild a team. With how the caps are looking I can't wait to see people create the 18 and 19 classes.
