Got one in Pro-Am the past couple of nights. Don't do it much. Only to kids who are being a douche...

Yes, and yes. Drawing charges and getting called for charges. Drew two charges with Andre Iguodala on defense in my last play now game (hall of fame default slider) against the Pacers. I'm drawing charges left and right at a good rate. Good rate meaning I distinctly remember drawing and getting called for charges. But I don't really have a mental tally on the total amount per game but I've certainly seen charges.

Note: This is without the first patch (I've decided to disconnect from the internet before starting up 2k18). The only thing that I want patched is that Otto Porter scenario. I can't believe the CPU Hall of Fame left Durant wide open for a 3 on purpose when there was absolutely no threat of me driving the paint. That's not good.

I saw a '2K17' charge called yesterday...

The guy was turboing down court with Mutumbo, hit KG full stride and a charge was called...

Any technique? Haven't been able to draw 1 charge in over 10 games. Always called for a block.

No real technique that I can think of. I'm simply playing defense without much thought. Now that that I think about it, it could have been more blocks than charges, but for certain I have gotten charges. The amount or block to charge ratio, i just can't remember. I'll have to keep an eye out to see what I could be doing.

Disappointing. And for the record i've seen one online so far as well.

The threat of offensive fouls is necessary for dribble penetration to be well balanced.

Ive yet to see a charge called against me, and Ive drawn 2 charges. This is in about 7-8 full 48 minute games. Its definitely a issue that needs addressed.

Same goes for lack of shooting fouls on 3pt attempts, and midrange attempts. Only shooting fouls I see are all inside the paint, except for twice, I have saw a midrange shooting foul, but 0 on 3pts attempts.

Outside of this and lack of non steal turnovers, the gameplay is good. I hope this can be fixed, but these have been issues for a long time in NBA2k, so I wont hold my breath that they fix them. If they do fix them, gameplay will be darn near perfect.

1 other issue, is they still calculate rebounds wrong, so teams rebounds will always be higher than they should, because if a ball goes out of bounds, its counted as team rebound, so every game teams will have more rebounds that they should, which screws up sim stats. If you go into your player stats and count how many rebounds they are, you will see it will be lower than what your team stats show in rebounds. This has also been broke for several years now, I actually cant remember when they got this right its been that long

Mannnnn. They talk about calling fouls on guys running into jump shooters but they never do. It would clean up the game a ton if they did. Same with charges.
