    Dynasty patterns

For guys that have had long lasting dynasties. Have yall noticed any re-occuring patterns or themes?

E.G. Navy, Army, and Georgia Tech all become powers lowkey, over time.

with me I've also noticed that the Pac-12 will almost always end up sucking for some odd reason. and the B1G will succeed usually. Teams like Iowa will be really good somehow... Also I've noticed the MWC will usually produce 2 really good teams consistently, Usually San Diego State and Fresno State. But in some I've seen Nevada rise up. In the Sunbelt It's usually ULL or Troy. C-USA I've noticed Marshall has breakout seasons.

yeah service academies and either North Texas or SDSU

the later I get i will actually jump into some of these games and force them to lose 2-3 games a year just because it kills the realism so much.

The service academies and Georgia Tech all run the triple option which seems to be overpowered in simulations. I thought I read something here many noon ago that said to change their playbooks to run heavy but not triple option to make it more realistic. If you were to play any of them on your schedule, change their playbook back to the triple option before the game to play against their normal offense.

One way to keep teams like Army and Navy from getting too good is to add them to a better conference. That should help keep them from being 0 it 1-loss teams every season.

                  You'll have a 99/99/99 team going 8-4.

Do you think this could be remedied by changing their playbook to something more “powerful”?

Im not sure if playbooks will help, maybe just re simming games (or using the editor) to help powerhouses beat the cupcake teams which they always lose to will help their records

Edit their head coach's offensive aggressiveness to ~50 on offense and those teams will do better. If aggressiveness is higher, they will have ridiculously low completion percentages.

And as far as Army/Navy/Air Force/GT change their coaches playbooks to non triple option and change the run/pass tendency to pass more and they won't be unstoppable in sim games anymore.

I also have read about changing the playbooks of service academies. I have and they aren’t as strong now as they have been in previous dynasties. The Alabama thing I see in my dynasty as well as the San Diego St. PAC 12 seems to have a handful of teams in the top 25 every year for me. ULL is also another school I see turning into a power house. They went 13-1 last season in my dynasty. This season they are in the top 20 after starting not ranked even though they finished in the top 15 last season in my dynasty. Texas is another school that I see that goes ether good or bad in m dynasties.
