Re: COACH SETTINGS
Yeah Young22 noticed something similar, and passed it on to me. A few of us play with it just at 55/45 and the CPU offense seems to be much more aggressive than 50/50 default. Almost like the CPU knows you're defending the run more, so they will go to the air. -
Re: COACH SETTINGS
I think it is great tbh.. i hate the mundane just run the ball 1st & 2nd down then screen on 3rd.. I think the coach settings could be a big part to getting some disparity between teams + player edits. Sliders work is killing me.I PLAY FOR NEBRASKAComment

Re: COACH SETTINGS
coaching at 55/45 run/pass with Jkit's sliders, resetting fatigue (off for 2nd half kickoff, on again right after) and simple house rules like limiting read option and money plays has been the closest to realism I've ever gotten.Comment

Re: COACH SETTINGS
Also, if you want your team to do the no-huddle "check with me" animation, put the No Huddle on AGGRESSIVE not NORMAL.. essentially NORMAL is 2 minute offense pace and that screws up the fatigue and play count if you are looking for sim.
Also, looking into how Coach Off ST impacts play calling.. this is basically the overall scheme of the offense. The values are:
0 = Air Raid
1 = Multiple
2 = One Back
3 = Option
4 = Pistol
5 = Pro
6 = Spread
Defense has one as well that corresponds to the defensive scheme. Will look into those after.
Set All Coaches to 15 Sim Def R/P Ratio as well as DEF Playcalling Agr.
Using custom playbooks which I will also post to give more realism and remove broken defensive and offensive plays.Last edited by BRASKA15; 10-04-2018, 08:45 PM.I PLAY FOR NEBRASKAComment

Re: COACH SETTINGS
Want to play 15 min quarters and get sim play counts so I put all teams to Conservative No huddle. In real life teams do not huddle, but by the time the play gets in and they are set, the play clock is at about 25 seconds from my observations, which is the the same for NCAA 14 when teams break the huddle. This will also allow for better injury and fatigue management and allows for subs.I PLAY FOR NEBRASKAComment

Re: COACH SETTINGS
Ive played on 11 minutes using conservative huddles along with my fatigue and auto sub sliders and the numbers for the most part look great...exception being sometimes extremely high passing attempts by cpu qb. Talking like 65 to 70 attempts. Can't imagine what the numbers would look like on 15 per qtr. Makes me wish theu would have put accelerated clock in there. There is a place in the profile settings for accelerated clock but it doesnt do anything.Want to play 15 min quarters and get sim play counts so I put all teams to Conservative No huddle. Do you remember exactly where this is in the profile settings?Ive played on 11 minutes using conservative huddles along with my fatigue and auto sub sliders and the numbers for the most part look great...exception being sometimes extremely high passing attempts by cpu qb. With the pass attempts, you have to mess around with R/P ratio a bit.. I have noticed the slider is "backwards" with the lower the number is in the Editor, the more the team will run. This would be the number to the left in the game.I PLAY FOR NEBRASKAComment
