You think the Pelicans will miss the playoffs? Only way i can see that happening is if AD is out injured for 30+ games.

If this reply was for me then yes I do think the Pelicans will miss the playoffs even with Davis possibly having an MVP type season. They will certainly be in the race for #7 or #8 spot whom I think will be between the Lakers & T-Wolves. If the T'Wolves do end up trading Butler then yes I would give the #8 spot to the Pelicans & the T'Wolves out. Possibly even being a #7 seed & the Lakers would get #8.

Looks like some of my original picks for the playoffs aren't looking very good. I had The Wizards 7th in the East & the Cavs 8th in the East. I now don't believe either team will make the playoffs. I would now pick the Pistons & Hornets for those 2 spots but it's still early in the season.

In the West I had picked the Lakers 7th & the T'Wolves 8th. I now think it will be the Pelicans 6th & the Spurs 7th. I also had the Thunder @ #3 but early on in the season they are not even looking like a playoff team.

I would still find it shocking if this team doesn't make the playoffs. However, if they don't get things together then that leaves another team to get in & then I would have to pick the Kings or the Grizzlies getting in @ #8.
