How do you make players happy? Do you know what the usage rate has to be in order for them to not be all pissy?

Generated player ratings seem to be all out of whack out of the box (multiple players with >90 3pt or midrange every year). Do you have settings that give semi realistic rosters after current players retire?

There is a simple fix for generated player ratings. I experimented a lot. Not perfect but wayyyyy better. If your using auto generated then heres what you do. Decrease all pg, sg and small forward close, mid and threepoint by 10. Pf and centers sometimes are not that high so you gotta look before you decrease them.

I also decrease their potential by 3 or 5 depending on how high the whole class potential are set at. With global editing it takes like 30 seconds to a minute. I have draft class quality at 35. You won't see a abundant of allstar sharpshooters using this. You can do this with all ratings that seem to high in that particular draft class. For example alot of the time I decrease layups by 5 cause alot come in with 90+ layups. Same for on ball ect.

I am turning off all trades and injuries but I am still seeing players moved. In 2k17 I could play any game I wanted without seeing any changes to my roster but since then 2k seems to be messing with my season so I have not bothered with it.

Is there any way to stop the trades and players being added as this destroys the game for me.

I have a list of questions for you. Please answer to the best of your abilities:

1. Is the only right way to run a league by controlling all teams (because of unrealistic things they do such as sign cheap contracts and rotations)?

2. Also, how do you keep up the competitiveness of playing with one or two teams while controlling every other team too?

3. If so, how do you manage free agency for each team?

4. Do you have any special progression sliders that don't result in too many players eventually being rated over 90?

5. What do you think is the least paid attention to thing here? What is it that people need to be aware of that they aren't?

6. When playing 10+ minute quarters, is there any way to limit the number of rebounds for user and CPU? I play too many games where centers grab 25+ rebounds (for me and the CPU).

7. Is there a way to make the CPU attempt more 3-pointers (like in real life) even when the 3-point tendency is already at 100? That's not enough apparently.

8. Do you have any fun ideas that you roll with? Like playing with one team in each division, 29 game season in that case? Just give me anything unique that you do to keep you attached.

I don't have 2k20, but in 2k19 i got much better spacing and 3 point attempts by setting zone defense slider in coaching sliders for every team at 50.

Im using a CAP for Wiggins since his new haircut doesnt load in existing MyLeagues, but once I import the CAP it no longer says he was a #1 pick in his player info, but instead says undrafted. Very minor thing and i dont care that much, but just curious

Can you give a description of what the coach sliders under coach gameplan do (help defense, outside-inside, etc). Also in coach points of emphasis, what’s the diff between neutral and no preference? Thanks.

Why do you use a CAP? Just import his new player DNA.
