Will there be a way to edit stats of my CAFs if I don't use them for online?
 

I like to run my universe mode, but this is gonna suck if I have to choose an archetype even tho I won't use them for online.

In the videos I've seen of people creating players, they've used archetypes but aren't forced to sticking to them. You can essentially just used the archetype as a base and then change stats to your desire.

According to Aholbert32, you have to use archetypes exclusively

You cannot edit stats, moves or perks.

The only way to change those is to change their archetype.

I'm hoping that this will be changed in a patch.
