NBA2K22 - No more custom rosters in freestyle?
There is no ability to load custom rosters into freestyle or scrimmage mode. I sure hope this is just a bug or this is getting patched in soon. This makes it difficult to test out created players.YT - Jimbo2K

Yeah I’m hopeful it was just an oversight and 2k will put it back in.

Re: NBA2K22 - No more custom rosters in freestyle?
It's crazy how many work arounds are being found for 2k22 when it was just a normal feature in the game for years, I know this was a short cycle for them this year but sheesh. Feels like this game wasn't ready for release at all.Comment

Blame the NBA. From what I understand, sports game companies have contractual obligations with the real-life leagues to release games by a certain date every year.Comment

Lol can’t blame the NBA for bug and glitches. Even if this game came out in October or December, it would still have bugs and glitches, all games do these days. I would say 2k needs better QA.

Re: NBA2K22 - No more custom rosters in freestyle?
And product management.
A good PM sets the vision/tone/pace, the devs code & submit changes, QA combs thru everything in-game (or not everything apparently) to assure quality. If a feature exists, make sure it works as intended. If it does not work as intended then flag it, document the intended functionality vs actual functionality (if any) for dev to descend on. Simple premise.
Devs do not push freshly edited code directly to production. That would be absolutely insane. Devs are also not the ones making decisions about what gets worked on. There's an infrastructure in place, or supposed to be at least.
Why some folks are so willing to accept whatever VC/2K puts out is beyond me.
These issues can be caught before the initial release candidate. Just depends on how issues are handled in their DevOps pipeline. The issues are either discovered, documented, and not addressed cuz something else is "more important", or the feedback (either from QA or users) never makes its way into the DevOps pipeline in the first place.Comment

Do series work in scrimmage? I’m choosing them but not activating.Comment
