Worst game I’ve played since 2k baseball

Seriously, how do you release a game that’s such a poor representation of basketball? A 12 min quarter franchise game that end 82-63 with the CPU going 27/90 (30%), 4/23 from 3 (17%) and 5/7 from the FT line… 2 second chance points and 15 assists in an entire game. You’ve got guys that are 6’10 drop stepping against 6’4 guys in the paint and missing the layup because there’s a 35% contest. Contest what? He’s a foot from the rim and a foot above the defender. There’s no such thing as an open shot in the game. I think Jakob Poeltl got 5 blocks recovering from the elbow on a guard that was 2 steps bye him. Thaddeaus You blocked Aaron Gordon without even jumping. This game is a complete joke. I keep waiting for some miracle patch to make this game any amount of fun, but I give up. Sports games may have hit an all time low in 2021. Madden, NBA 2K, The Show, they were better on PS3 than they are on PS5. Golf weather can’t come soon enough!

Can’t disagree any more with how I’ve got the game playing.

Individual attribute adjustments to players to lower driving and raise mid range jumpers, sliders, etc.

I’m getting extremely good games and even both teams are shooting up to 25 free throws a game. Blocks are unrealistic and mismatches don’t get proper help but I’m not too mad about it since I have defense otherwise super solid from CPU. I’m also seeing remnants of the “alive” help defense from launch.

It needs a lot of time and tweaking but right now I have little to no complains. And I had a lot originally.

Start on default sliders (whatever your level is on offense).
Max out all the foul frequency sliders for CPU & USER (100).
Change the CPU Shot Timing Impact slider to 0 (=CPU Real Player %).
Decrease the following CPU offense sliders by 4: (Updated Jan. 25 2022)
CPU Inside Shot Success -4
CPU Close Shot Success -4
CPU Mid-Range Shot Success -4
CPU 3PT Success -4
CPU Layup Success -4
CPU Alley-Oop Success -4
CPU Contact Shot Success -4

Now you have a completely different game, Real Player % for the CPU.
If USER FG% is too high/low then level up/level down and make the changes above again (rinse and repeat)
If CPU FG% is too high/low then change CPU offense sliders above -2/+2
