Re: MLB Off-Topic
I mean, I'm not gonna come out and say I like a St. Louis jersey. But, let's just say that I am pro powder blue in general. I disagree with it clashing with other colors--I view powder blue more like a neutral color and most anything goes with it (maybe not green though). Certainly I am biased toward 70s and 80s uniform styles in general though.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: MLB Off-Topic
More Mike Trout ridiculousness:
I was looking over draft classes on Baseball Reference and noted that the 2009 class has a crazy average war/player compared to other classes. Of the 35 players from that draft that have played in the majors, they average 6.5 WAR/player. Of course, Mike Trout has accounted for 65 WAR, or 31% of the total for that draft class. You take him out and the average WAR/player drops to 4.5 or so.
It is a great draft class (Strasburg, Pollock, LeMehieu, Paxton, Corbin, Arenado), so even more incredible that he makes up 31% of the WAR that class has posted so far!"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment
