Tough 3 game set in Washington against the Nationals coming up for the Phillies.

The Phils are better on the road so who knows.

I'm looking forward to July.

I really wish the Phillies would call up top prospect 3rd baseman Maikel Franco and the 100MPH throwing Ken Giles for the bullpen. What is there to lose? Let's see what the kids have.

Ryan Zimmerman to start in LF tonight for the Nationals. Ken Rosenthal posted an article that said the Nationals had planned to move Zimmerman to 1B next season, but they may keep Adam LaRoche next year and move Zimmerman to LF Harper to CF and Jayson Werth stays in RF with Denard Span most likely being traded.

Ken Rosenthal posted an article that said the Nationals had planned to move Zimmerman to 1B next season, but they may keep Adam LaRoche next year and move Zimmerman to LF Harper to CF and Jayson Werth stays in RF with Denard Span most likely being traded.

Hopefully the move works out for Zimmerman. From what I've read, his throwing problems are more physical than mental, but maybe a move to the OF will change his throwing mechanics a bit and help him out.

Yeah it's from his shoulder surgeries. He was supposed to move to 1B next season, but the Nats may try to keep LaRoche and move Rendon over to 3B. Hopefully he does have better luck in LF. Time will tell.

The Jays have a tough 3 game set against the Tigers Sanchez, Porcello and Verlander YIKES! They then welcome the Cards to town for another 3 games.

Man, the Jays/Tigers game was going at a great clip then the 9th inning happened. It took just about an hour to get one inning complete SMH.

Loved how the Detroit fans just filed out of the stadium after Lawrie's HR too

The Royals get swept by the Astros at home, and then win 4 of 6 on the road against the Jays and Cards.
