Kendrick Perkins Traded to OKC

Deal supposedly is Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic to Boston for Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson.

Just before Thursday's 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, the Boston Celtics agreed to ship center Kendrick Perkins and guard Nate Robinson to the Oklahoma City Thunder for swingman Jeff Green and big man Nenad Krstic, two league sources told ESPN.com's Chad Ford on Thursday. Neither team was done, though.

Sources told ESPN.com's Brian Windhorst that the Celtics also traded rookie center Semih Erden and forward Luke Harangody to the Cleveland Cavaliers for a second-round draft pick.

While the Celtics were unloading big men, the Thunder acquired another one, sending Morris Peterson and D.J. White to Charlotte for center Nazr Mohammed, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher.

Reports here that Boston also receives a 2012 first round pick.

Boston noooo. U gave up your advantage over the heat by losing a big body. Now ray will have to play better then wade, pierce - lebron, and kg- bosh. Bosh is the big winner in this deal cuz now he doesn't have to go through perkins

Shaq is banged up, jermain O'neal is injured all the time. so is kristic the new starting center? I don't understand this trade for boston

Boston is stupid and just cost themselves a legit shot at winning it all. Now come playoff time they might have no center at all cause Shaq and Jermaine are both hurt with Jermaine needing a knee operation. This is also big for the Bulls, Heat, Magic, and to an extent the Hawks and Knicks. The Celtics no longer have the size advantage and low post defense. I can now easily see Boston losing in the second round of the playoffs.

Also this is great for OKC. They get the low post defender they need and Green probably wasn't going to get resigned anyway and Kristic is basically worthless. Now they have Ibaka and Perkins for shot blocking and defense. Major move for the Thunder.

I guess the Celts forgot the Perkins was one of the big reasons they were winning championships. Who's going to start at C? Garnett? Kristic?

The Celtics are idiots.... my only thinking to this is that they're gonna sign troy murphy if/when he gets bought out. I don't know what danny was thinking here....
