Prime LeBron or Prime Kobe?

I saw another thread on kobe vs tmac,
so i've decided to make 1 on lbj vs kobe

I choose LbJ in his prime anyday then kobe.

Seemed like a lot of folks would have taken TMac over Kobe in their primes...

I hope those same people pick LeBron then because James' resume destroys TMac's in their respective primes.

Personally I don't see how this can even be discussed yet. Kobe and TMac are PAST their prime so the discussion makes sense there.

Good point Wwharton. But let's say LeBron's career ended today.

His time in the league destroys TMac's. Skills, accomplishments, production and resume.

Whatever LeBron does from this point on will simply be adding distance between he and TMac.

But enough about TMac.

I would pick Kobe in his prime but I don't think Lebron is in his prime just yet.

We do not know when LeBron's prime is/has been. But Kobe is a winner and we know how important that is in the grand scheme of things. I don't hold LeBron responsible for not winning a ring thus far but he could have done more this past series vs. Dallons

An Athlete's prime is like 26-30, so LeBron's just entering his body's peak, plus he has a lot of areas he can improve on in his game so I don't see this as a fair comparison.

Maybe LeBron is not in his prime yet, gotta wait and see, but as of right now I'll take Kobe. LeBron has undeniably a better all-around game but like I've said in the end it's really about what you did/do and accomplish.

I might be mistaken but the thread clearly states Prime lebron or kobe, nothing about tmac in the thread title.

as for lebron, he's been better then kobe for about 4 years now and that was during one of kobe's prime years so lebron gets my choice by a extremely wide margin
