I just bought Nascar 06 for $3.00 after reading reviews and I am waiting for it to get to my house. Anybody ever played it? If you did, is it a good game?

What system? The PS2 version was horribily glitched. The Busch series will freeze in Fight to the Top mode and the points will be doubled in the Craftsman Truck Series in FTTT. I forget what the trigger for the Busch Freeze was, but if you get it the game will invariably freeze at the start of any Busch series race you try to run.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

It's a fun game, probably the best console racing game I've owned (which would be NASCAR 05, 06, and 09). However, it's more of an arcade game than a simulation, so if you're looking for sim racing, PC racing is the way to go.
The Fight to the Top Mode is pretty fun, as well.
I have it for Xbox, BTW, as well. I haven't played it in a long time, but I used to play it a lot back in its heyday.Comment

I never saw it either, but I played the Xbox version and not the PS2, so maybe that has something to do with it.Comment
