Yeah, I want to hear impressions badly.

There was like little to no info about this game leading up to it's release, compared to what I would have expected out of EA.

All that smack talking by these devs about GT5, yet barely anything out there for info is odd. But I am very interested in this game.

If you watch the most recent trailer, they state they received reviews of:

9/10 from Official Xbox Magazine
9/10 from Electronic Gaming Monthly
9/10 from Playstation: The Official Magazine

But I have yet to read any of those reviews (can't find), so not sure if they paid for these advertisements or what. I'm waiting to read ign's review to get a good feel before I purchase this one...

Woh this place is quiet. No one got it yet?

Seems like a real sleeper of a release considering how busy the Nascar boards are!

Especially considering it is an EA game going up against GT5, etc.

You'd better wait for user reviews.IGN has the worst reviewers imho.

Eh I tend to trust ign over many of the other review sites. IGN scores are sometimes a bit high, but I feel they are realistic and I tend to actually read the review where the bulk of the information is. They nailed it for TDU2 and several sports games in the past. I do believe that they pick favorites, but it's fairly obvious when they do.

Ive had the game for about 3 days now,im deep into career mode,Im liking it alot,I have the PS3 version,i can answer Questions if u like???The cockpit graphics are really good,but overall i dont see much if any improvement from shift 1....Maybe it looks better on the xbox 360 or PC?? I think the graphics are better in GT 5.

Talk to me about PHYSICS- I'm still on the fence about this one because the cars seem like they're handling like boats! Are they close to sim? Or are they true arcade?

yea any impressions would be awesome.. i'm getting this tomorrow so i'll let you all know how it goes.. I'm usually a Forza guy so we shall see how this stacks up. I have high expectations.. the videos look incredible.

Actually after reading that I don't think I'll be picking it up tomorrow. I always use a racing wheel and this guy sounded pretty objective and he seemed to think that the driving physics left alot to be desired.

I wasn't expecting GT5 but a floaty ride, difficulty in keeping the nose straight, lack of oversteer, and very little force feedback are pretty big minuses. At least enough to not pay full price.
