Re: EA's Slider Code for actual player ratings
ok,
I just played Texas (me) vs OU (CPU).
Playmaker..the stats look very nice for OU. Nice balance of pancakes on both sides, nice passing stats, etc....
But where is the defense?
I beat OU 54-38 on 7 min quarters.
Here are the numbers...
OU Texas
Score 38 54
First Downs 18 24
Total Offense 430 575
Rushes-Yards 44-210 54-506!
Comp-Att-TD 11-23-1 3-8-0
Passing Yards 220 69
Sacks 5 6
Turnovers 1 4
Fumbles-lost 1-1 4-2
Intercepted 0 1
TOP 14:41 13:19
Now the pancakes were almost dead even, the OU stats look very nice, etc.
But it is almost insane how easy it was to run against OU. I'm talking, even with a noticeable speed deficit at Human run of 25, Selvin Young carried 25 times for 211 yards and 2 TDs and Vince Young carried 27 times for 294 yards and 4 TDs.
This is the problem that we face on AA. Even though the stats seem "even" with good teams, etc. It just seems to me that the CPU will always get their butts handed to them in the end.
And having an OU Texas game with a score of 54-38 on 7 min quarters screams to me that some tweaking on either A)run blocking or B) CPU D awareness and break block need to be addressed.
But I will say again..the stats looked very nice and even I definitely saw a huge difference in the domination on the lines between Texas Baylor and Texas OU. But as you can see....I think more tweaking is needed.
Keep it up. I'm hoping someone can find some AA sliders that really work and yours seem the closest yet.
Back to Heisman for now I guess.
