Player Edits (Equipment, #'s, Stances, ect.)

Of course, the developers aren't going to know all the players appearance and equipment they should be wearing like us fans do. Right off the bat I noticed some things that needed to be adjusted to Yankee players.

I'll list the adjustments I've made, and I hope others with the game will do the same for their team, this way we can have all the players looking like they should.

I've only listen the changes, everything else should be left as is.

    Yankees:

    Phil Hughes
    Number: 34
    Glove: Black
    Socks: Pants
    Walkup: Modern Rock

    Ian Kennedy
    Number: 31
    Socks: High
    Pitching Style: Gil Meche

    Alex Rodriguez
    Sec. Position: SS
    Left Wristband: Thin

    Bobby Abreu
    Both Sleeves: None

    Hideki Matsui
    Both Forearmband: None
    Both Wristband: Wide w/Number
    Both Sleeves: None

    Kyle Farnsworth
    Pitching Style: Billy Wagner (2007)
Alt. Pitching Style: Erving Santana (Farnsworth is going to try and go from the windup this season, after watching him Pitch Sunday, this is very close)

    Mike Mussina
    Both Sleeves: None

    Robinson Cano
    Both Wristband: Thin
    Both Armband: Thin w/Number
    Both Sleeves: None
    Shinguard: No

    Jason Giambi
    Both Sleeves: None
    Helmet Pine Tar: Light
    Walkup Music: Hip Hop

    Melky Cabrera
    Both Sleeves: None

    Shelley Duncan
    Batting Stance: Justin Morneau

    Wilson Betemit
    Helmet Style: Old.
    Glove Color: Brown
    Both Wristband: Thin.
Socks: High or Pants...he goes back and forth.

    Latroy Hawkins
    Number: 22
Pitching Style: Scott Elerton (the hesitation he does with his hands is perfect, the Hawkins pitching style in the game is from 2006)

    Edwar Ramirez
    Number: 36
    Pitching Style: Felix Hernandez

    Chris Britton
    Number: 38
    Pitching Style: Jonathan Broxton

    Ross Ohlendorf
    Number: 39
    Glove: Brown
    Pitching Style: Dan Wheeler
Alt. Pitching style: Scot Sheild (if he ever goes back to the windup)

    Brian Bruney
    Socks: Pants
    Pitching Style: Josh Johnson

    Jose Molina
    Both Sleeves: None
    Batting Stance: Doug Mirabelli

(Note: The roster update changes most of the jersey numbers to their current ones)

I've never liked Jeter's stance in this series. You have any suggestions for an alternative stance?

I'm not getting The Show 08' (I'm a 360 player), so this has no affect on me.

Sean Henn is now #30 (I don't know if the game has it already or not). Just looking out for all you Show players.

I don't if it was just me but I don't remember Jeter wearing 1 sleeve, so I took it off

Guess your right. I always thought he was just wearing a bunch of arm bands

                Re: Jeter's Stance

                I've used Einar Diaz' stance...

Jeter's stance in the game has too much bat movement for my liking

I maybe stupid but how do you edit minor league guys? In the edit player screen it only goes through MLB teams. I know for sure they let you edit minor leaguers last year, what gives?

What I've had to do is add them to the MLB roster then edit them. I haven't found an easier way yet

That's what I was thinking that we may have to do. Hopefully there's an easier way.

Don't you just push the R-stick left/right to get to AAA/AA?

Doesn't work this year. At least I haven't gotten it to.

You change between MLB/AAA/AA with the Right Stick, don't click it, rather move it to the left or right.

Wait a second, it's not working now. WTF? I just finished editing some minor leaguers about an hour ago. I turned my PS3 off, now I can't choose between MLB/AAA/AA anymore.

Ok, looks like there may be a bug, but I already found a work-around.

Just go to Franchise, select 'NEW 1P' then for rosters select 'CURRENT' After that, it'll say "Initializing Rosters, Please wait..." for about a second. After that, just press Triangle to back out of the Franchise.

Now go back to Edit Player and you will be able to select between MLB/AAA/AA by pushing the right stick left/right. Weird.
