That's what I was thinking. We'll never get him to say it (), but he did make a distinction between the normal roster updates and this Monday thing.

I started mine up last night. I am glad I did. Game 3, on the road, and my Sox are wearing Red jerseys with names on the back - a jersey that doesn't even exist. Makes it hard to worry about wrist bands when we can't seem to get the basic uniforms correct.

Why did you have to say that? I was gunna start my franchise with some of the OS's guys rosters tonight...........until you brought that up.

Stupid question, but what might the patch cover, if/when it comes out?

Ill take a stand as person # 3409238429 who was all geeked up about starting my chise today......i wanted to get it going before GTA IV came out.

The bad news is, we will not be deploying a mid week roster to fix the accessory issue. The good news is, the fix (and even more updates) are coming next Monday.

it exists, but the ones in the game are wrong..those are from the 2001 season!!!!
the new ones have "athletics" and the numbers written in white with a yellow boarder, while the ones in the game have it in green...


but at the same time im sure this is the A's fault...im pretty sure SCEA makes the unifroms they have on MLB style guide, casue thats problaby mandatory by MLB...so if a unifrm is wrong in the game, im sure its because its wrong int the style guide.

Speaking of rosters, I have a couple of notes on Kosuke Fukudome:

I downloaded the rosters, and found out that the announcers were unable to announce Kosuke's name, even though I heard them pronounce it in a preview video at ign.com a couple months ago. In addition, Fukudome wasn't given his customary long sleeves (which he wears every game), a black glove (the one he wears in real life is a black Mizuno), or Coolflo (or 'new') helmet like every other Cub wears.

Also, is it possible to give Fukudome a real face scan? Or at least a generic face that looks more Asian?

I know I was disappointed that they could not announce his name. The equipment stuff will probably be fixed with the update on Monday since the equipment being wrong was something that this update seemed to mess up.

The problem with the Coolflo helmet is that the programmers did not put in an away Coolflo helmet. Thats why when you play an away game the batting helmets are all blue since the Cubs use Coolflo helmets exclusively. But they did include the correct away helmet in the old model of batting helmets. So if you want the Cubs to have the correct away helmets you have to edit every player and change the batting helmet from new to old in the player edit area. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update.

im sure SCEA wouldnt be that lazy to make a wrong jersey, also, MLB would never allow them to have something else what they have on their own style guide..

another proof of this is that mlb 2k game has the same exact mistakes as "the show"..proves that their sorce is the same, and its wrong.

This is exactly the sort of thing that seperates SCEA from everyone else and why this game is phenomenal. Thanks for updating the community, no other game company would do this.
