Do you know if the demo will be the same version of the game as on release day? I know that last year was not so I am curious if it is this year.

No, the demo will only consist of two modes and the teams are locked for those modes. However, this year the demo will have the TV commentary included. The build of the code is older than the final release, so the demo should be treated as a "work in progress" an not as a final version (the demo was finished about 3 weeks before the game code was final).
