Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Confirmed For June 19th
EA said that we will probably get a patch, but don't expect it before release. They said they get one free one so they will wait a bit to make sure something ugly doesn't pop up.I'm looking forward to seeing if any adjustments have been made to allow pressure on the QB without having to all-out blitz. If thats not the case, then i'll just be hoping for a patch sometime around release. If they plan to fix it, I hope they're already working on it.
Postpone the honeymoon. I am sure she will understand.Comment

Re: NCAA Demo June 19th Confirmed
I have inquired a lot about this as it is very important to me as well. Everything I have heard is that if there will be a patch at all it will not come until very late like last year. Last year it was released in December. This is because they only get to do 1 free patch (after that I guess its very expensive) and they will want to wait and get all the big bugs after the release. Then thy have to code and test everything which takes a couple of months. Then after its all done and ready to be put on Live it takes another 2 months to go through Microsoft for certification. Its all very frustrating IMO.I'm looking forward to seeing if any adjustments have been made to allow pressure on the QB without having to all-out blitz. You can download it on Xbox live or the PS3 network. It is usually only two team...and can only play a short game.Comment

But seriously, her name is September Carrino. Google her and you won't be sorry.
That's good to hear. But I'm sure something else will show up that will burn us in the end...

Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Confirmed For June 19th
Has anyone at EA said whether the demo is the final game code? Last year it was not so I am curious if it is this year.Comment

I hope so... who knows though. If the demo was sent in a few weeks ago, I doubt it's final build, but probably close to it.Comment

Greg is answering questions at NCAA Utopia and said
soce
Do you know if the demo will be the same version of the game as on release day? I know that last year was not so I am curious if it is this year.
Thanks
No, the demo will only consist of two modes and the teams are locked for those modes. However, this year the demo will have the TV commentary included. The build of the code is older than the final release, so the demo should be treated as a "work in progress" an not as a final version (the demo was finished about 3 weeks before the game code was final).

I couldn't think of a better game to hold me over until the demo drops. Is it sad that I'm a tad more excited to play a new football game(that comes out every year mind you), than MGS???
