Re: Five Madden Features We Miss (IGN)
haha madden cards?
pre game/halftime show
in game cut ins
weekly wrap up
franchise menu radio show (tony bruno)
roster cut downs (make the preseason worth something besides simulation injuries)
trading future draft picks
make the draft feel more like an event then just a menu filled with text.
harder to get free agents
player hold outs/ demanding trades
team chemistry
owner mode
getting fired and forced to move to another team if you dont do well
equals AMAZING FRANCHISEComment

As someone who is also a franchise junkie, I would add practice squads, dynamic player personalities, more special teams focus, etc.
NFL Head coach is really intriguing me right now. My dream would be for Ian and crew to get gameplay tight for Madden, and Josh and crew get management tight for Head Coach and have them become fully integrated....ahh, dreams

Re: Five Madden Features We Miss (IGN)
If I remember correctly, even back on like Madden 95, when someone got hurt, it took a few mins to find out what teh injury was. If you went into the injury screen, it would say "player being examined" or something like that.Speaking of the ambulance for next year when someone gets injured it should take at least a few mins before reporting what the injurer was. In real life they don't know what the injurer is right away like in all the Madden games.
Also it would be cool to see the ambulance when a player gets really really hurt but not for every injurer.
Also can't wait for in-game saves, refs, chain gang, accelerated clock
And lets not forget Cheerleaders
My problem with that is that nowadays people want to use their superstars as much as possible, so we really want to know off the bat. I don't want to wait 3 mins to find out a guy is out for the game, it might screw up my game plan.
I don't need an ambulance....I just don't need the game to stop to stop for 15-20 secs to show an injured player on the ground.Comment

Re: Five Madden Features We Miss (IGN)
I have a solution... 2 injury options:
1. Realistic injury updates could be called "real-time injury updates"
and...
2. Instant injury updates which would be like what we have now.
... both user selectable in the menu options.
Clicking 'A' would end the scene whenever you want. And/or, they could give us another user selectable option; Cutscenes on, cutscenes off. And that would encompass all cutscenes (which I hope return to the game someday).Comment
