idk why i got an infraction for saying the graphics are worse than madden 07/08, but I dont really care. Play madden 07/08 before playing the demo, you will see a huge difference. Madden 09 player models are worse, and so are the jerseys.ugh

The game (or players) still moves too fast. They just don't move naturally and collision detection hasn't improved at all.

I was really pumped about this game but things are starting to look bad.

EA really needs to play 2k8 and steal about 90% of it.

Because your post was conveyed as "trolling". And you're basing the success of a game by the demo's jersey's.

Where is strafing in the game? Im picking up the retail today and I dont know any of the available options. I know in old maddens youu could select the receiver and face the line of scrimmage to catch the ball. Now it seems to be removed.Maybe you can enable it? I should have it at 1pm EST so my questions should be answered then. And I hope the graphics look better.

How are getting this game today when it isn't released until Aug. 12th? Or are you talking about the retail demo?

did anyone notice that smart routes are back + individual payer subs for each package from the play calling menu

I love the quick sub idea, that is very cool. Able to do what you want with who you want, when you want. I tried it in the demo a bit with WR's and it worked nicely.

I also love the quick sub through the playcalling menu feature. I didn't do as much of it as I would have liked due to the running clock and what not, but it was cool nonetheless. I see it being even more of a positive on the defensive side of the ball...

I feel like the players are HUGE and the playing surface is MINIATURE.

I feel like I'm playing in some sort of Thunderdome and the year is 2020. Anyone else feel like you're playing with large robots as opposed to humans?

It just feels very futuristic and arcade-like. Graphics and animations all over the place. Not a big fan of the new play-calling screen/layout. I love the quick subs/quick formations idea but the futuristic look of the screen (colors and template) doesnt work for me.

Camera angle when passing is odd. Can't get used to it yet.

This is my first year playing next-gen Madden. I didn't bother picking the other two up because of the impressions from others.

I played the demo and thought it was very solid. I don't know much a feel for the game you can get in 1:40 seconds, but I thought it was pretty solid. I actually enjoyed 10x more than NCAA.

I guess since I haven't played any next gen Madden's I really can't compare it to previous years. Based on the features of this game, and after playing the demo, I think I will get this year's Madden.

I liked the demo a lot, somethings I noted

-There seems to be much more resemblence of a pocket. Its not perfect but we already know OL/DL is a 2010 thing

-I like how they have animations now for the QB setting his feet and winding up to throw it 30 plus yards. If they stole some of this from APF then great.

-I am glad it is not as easy to just throw deep and spec catch/ user for the ball over two defenders.

-The passing game involves a lot of touch now and your QB's are not always accurate =

-Graphics are phenomenal, I went into replay and put the camera in certain angles. It looks photorealistic sometimes. The lighting is beautiful.

-I like the new player models

-QUICK SUBS ARE GREAT

-The player proportions to the field are way better IMO. Last year I felt they were too big or the field was too small

-Plaxico's custom celebration in the endzone is funny

Its a short demo, but thats what I got out of it. I will be looking for this early next week.`
