Yeah... Lamar Odom hit one free throw... and I heard one guy clapping. I chuckled a little.
I've seen some VERY nice things out of the demo, and the spacing feels a "LITTLE" better. Not great.. but workable. I haven't saw that lead pass... and the AI works it pretty well. Overall... I'm a pretty happy camper.
Had my camera set up for another Kobe move.. but the batteries died. lol
They've nailed Kobe's mannerisms though. I wish you all could have seen the look of disgust on his face... it just zoomed into him.. and he jsut stood there glaring at the ref. It was perfect. I laughed... I'm not gonna lie.Twitter - WTF_OS

Dude i know you can have your own opinions but man just be thankful we dont have our games looking like this anymore....LOL! What kind of joke is this? do I need to list here the long list of PS3 games including exclusive titles that does not have jaggies at all? this game has jaggies on all the systems, and the jaggies has been there always, they just hasnt improve their graphics engine and now is just an ugly game, I dont have to get "used" to jaggies is 2008 almost 2009, not playing this game is enought to resolve the jaggies to me.

Yeah I am not as well versed as some of the more experienced players guys in this forum and website. Football and Boxing are more my sports. I must say having played both games, this game wins the WOW factor hands down. I really enjoyed this demo.Same here. Tried the Live demo and thought it was okay but this really blew me away. There are jaggies but it's not too bad. I really noticed them on the loading screen. Somebody earlier mentioned the players had "weight" and they feel like they do. Plus my first game I think I scored all of 4 points but I loved it. Watching Kobe drive to the basket and score was so cool!Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/complex219Comment

Just saw Bynum get mixed up in transition and guard Eddie House, but when he went through the post for a screen Bynum switched off to cover Perkins when he got to him and Fisher continued cutting off the screen, super nice switch.
I'm still not used to the speed of the game though, it might just be me but every animation seems a LOT slower, I can't do anything with Isomotion and am really struggling to beat anyone off the dribble. I wasn't any good with Kobe last year anyway, but I can't even do a crossover with him now.Comment

NBA2K9. It's fannnnnntastic!
So many things (and little things) to list that I love right off the bat. 5 games into the demo and I freaking love this game.
Oh, how I hope I get this game tomorrow."Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

Re: NBA 2K9 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here (PS3 Only For Now)
Saw a few other cool things...
I was playing good D on the C's and the shot clock was winding down and Rondo took a 22 footer way off balance and it was an airball, dunno if I've ever seen that in a 2K game before.
Also, anyone who's using the C's, as soon as you're D make sure you adjust Rondo's defensive pressure on Fisher. LOL, he's hit about 20 three's so far on me.
One thing that is becoming a concern to me is the lack of responsiveness of the shotstick in a catch-n-shoot situation. It's awesome to see Ray Ray come off all these screens but so far I can't get him to catch and shoot all in one smooth motion. He always has to set himself and by then Kobe has recovered. Sometimes I have to use the shot stick twice, it's as if Ray is stuck in an animation during my first attempt at shooting. It's as if he has to go from "running off a screen animation" to "neutral" to "shooting" after I press the shot stick. Not good.
Also, the isomotion is a little worisome. Basically, hold down turbo and wiggle the stick and you'll get by someone. It's not as precise as in the past, IMO, but then again I'm sure I'm not using it correctly. Hopefully I'll figure it out or cheesers will have a field day with this."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
