Yes you can....in the options you can choose to shut off the throwing meter.
I never use it personally. I just go by their arm strength rating(it is time sensitive on the button though...holding it will make stronger throws...but more chance of it being off line or a throwing error completely)
About the crowd.
Demo crowd. Much, much better in the final version. I know somebody was giving Jim grief about this...even going as far as to call him a liar(
).....the crowd is much better in the final version and the demo crowd "weakness" is further compounded by the fact that it's only a half full stadium.
Autumn Wind....you will see gap shots...plenty of them...balls over the head of the OF'ers and getting by them down the line..
