Note- The GM took over from
Murray after the playoffs last season, and did not make all the same deals he did. Therefore, the lineups will be missing some current players (i.e. Kuba).
GM’s Thoughts- Moving Gerber was a tough choice, as he has been a great goalie in the past. As of late, however, he has not been playing well, and could probably use a change of scenery. Kovalchuck is a great addition; having four top notch players spread around two lines gives us depth we did not have prior to this. As for Setoguchi, I believe he has more potential than Donovan. As for Richardson, he has been playing bad in practice and just rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe some time in the minors will straighten that out.
