Yeah, we get blown forecasts all the time, too. They actually did pretty good for this past storm, though. They predicted 4-7 and we got 5-6 inches around my area (6" on the dot at my house).
Winter Storm Watches are up for northern Arkansas, Western Tennessee, and Northwestern Mississippi now, and Winter Weather Advisories are up for West-Central Mississippi and extreme Northeastern Louisiana now. An interesting setup is taking shape and could bring wintry precipitation to northern areas of the Southeast over then next couple days, including my area potentially Thursday night into Friday.
And another interesting potential is for next week. The Euro shows a cold-core upper level low which would deliver a good deal of snow to North Carolina, Virginia, and up towards DC and Philly in 5-6 days. It's something to watch, at least.
