I like high. For me it lets me see high and low pitches better. I have drawn more walks since I wen to that too. I switched to it because its more eye level to the batter.

I like the Pitcher view....more difficult than the Catchers view and has that live broadcast feeling.

Everything else feels fresh at first, but then it wears off and it starts feeling like a gimmick.....just my opinion of course

I play this on the PSP, so I don't know how this translates to the PS3 version, but I play on offset with strike zone off and the PCI on and guess pitch on with no indicator (and I rarely use it). Since I made this change I've jumped all the way from Allstar to Legend and now I'm getting 10-15 hits a game on Legend mode with the SF Giants.

I've just played my second full game of MLB09 ever, and tried Offset view. It's tough to judge the pitch, but somehow it's really fun to play in this view.

I'm sure I'd go back to one of the traditional views(most likely catcher view), but am having ton of fun with the offset for now.

Just try every views for at least one full game and pick the one you like best.

Don't give up on the offset view. Judging location takes a little bit of time, but the major advantage of this view is that it is far and away superior for judging the speed of the pitch and timing your swing, especially when you are hittting L vs R or R vs L. It will allow you to really time your swing perfectly, and once you learn to judge location in this view, hitting will actually become easy even on Legend mode. At least it has on the PSP version anyways.

I've been seeing the ball better using the outfield view. Weird, I know, but I wasn't hitting well, and thought well at least with this view I can keep it like a TV broadcast....

I always wanted to ask someone else who uses either outfield or pitcher cam, do u look at what the pitcher is throwing? It's kinda hard not to look since this game requires so much concentration. I love the broadcast feel, but i don't really like knowing what pitch is coming, but I guess it's a different way of using guess pitch without actually using "Guess Pitch." Sometimes I change to High cam if I'm having a bad time at the plate using the pitcher cam, but ultimately I like the broadcast feel the most. What do u think? Thanks. Later

If you use the outfield view, the AI catcher won't display the pitch/number being thrown. Just does the circle thing with his fingers...
