I just started using Pitcher View over the weekend and it is by far the best move I've made to improving my playing experience.

I've previously played on Catcher and Offset, however, Pitcher view provide great broadcast feel and you get a different perspective of each stadium that you play in...you also get to see your own players batting stances and faces as shown in "real games"

The CPU catcher does not give the pitcher any signs at all, so you don't have to worry about knowing what pitch is coming....I usually follow the glove and the ball at the same time, plus you have to use some baseball strategy to guess where the next pitch is coming like real batters do.

Yes, wide works best for me also. Seems easier to identify what pitch is coming your way.

off-set camera is my favorite, it gives me more time to see what the pitch is doing and it is easier to tell if it will be a ball or strike than you would think. Try it during some batting practice and see if it helps you. Off set is the only camera that I can hit with now. The only thing that is hard to guage is inside pitches. With practice you will start to pick these up also. All you have to do is watch the release of the pitch and you can tell.

This is what I've started to use as well, only thing I'll disagree with is I don't think it's more difficult. I actually think it's easier, it's a lot easier for me to see where the pitches are going in this view than it is behind the catcher.

The only thing I struggle a little bit with is when I'm facing a lefty, that's a bit of a challenge. I don't know why but it's harder to see where the pitch is going vs a lefty than it is vs a righty.

I love it though, this is the one I'm going to use from now on.

I love the broadcast feel, but i don't really like knowing what pitch is coming, but I guess it's a different way of using guess pitch without actually using "Guess Pitch." Sometimes I change to High cam if I'm having a bad time at the plate using the pitcher cam, but ultimately I like the broadcast feel the most. What do u think? Thanks. Later
I don't, what I do is focus on the middle of the plate. I don't even watch the ball out of the pitcher's hand. If it's over the plate I can determine if I need to swing or not. I still swing at some pitches I have no business swinging on but by focusing on my strike zone and not watching the ball come out of the pitches hand I can determine if I should swing or not. The outside pitches are really easy to lay off by doing it this way.

Haha; I was curious if anyone would make that joke.

I use the "wide" batting camera which I think is awesome. Really able to distinguish balls and strikes on both corners.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
