Guys....the only thing effected in the roster is the historical stats.
NOTHING ELSE...
You can use them in any way, shape or form....You can use them in season, in practice, in franchise. You can use them for exhibition, for quick games for RTTS.
You can play them in your sweat pants...your skivvies.......in the suit that God gave you while drinking a mint julip and eating grapes.
Holy heck what would you guys do in a real emergency!!

I can't believe I actually feel bad like somehow all this added pressure on SCEA is caused by me. I cannot however start these rosters over again just to rid them of the stat glitch. Just can't do it.

Well, drove 160 miles this morning to my buddies house and we've decided not to install the patch. He's a big a roster control nut than me, really disappointed in this.

Only good thing is Knight's roster works really well for most teams. I used my up to date roster (off of his original) started a franchise and the lineups look good (sticking like Knight has adjusted), even though there have been a lot of callups and send downs since the beginning of the season.

Can't determine if I'm even going to bother with the patch though, and removing the ability to steal when baserunning is on AUTO? I don't understand that one. I know it was a glitch, but it was one of the good ones. He always plays on AUTO baserunning, but likes to choose to steal on his own once in awhile, overriding the AI, so......dunno.

Ah, crap. Going to forge ahead with Knight's roster fix. Disappointed, to say the least, but moving on.

Yes I can confirm Jims feedback and knights V1 hold very nice.
But great news Jim we can still steal or hit and run on with auto baserunning on !

I guess so. My RTTS won't play either. It crashes everytime I go to the Schedule. What a joke. I finally get the Majors, and now I can't even play.

Guess it is time to sell this game on eBay.

Yeah...I think they fixed it for the CPU(where you would accidentally steal for them)
That is actually the perfect fix IMO.

Knights roster lineup fix works fine. The issue is, if you try to fix any other lineup (the AAA or AA lineups) or the pitching staff, they will not stick. This is for those of us that do NOT use Roster Control.

I dont use it, and i went through the Orioles lineup and set their MLB, AAA, AA lineup and pitching rotation, went into franchise (without roster control on), and the MLB lineup stuck (thanks to Knight's fix), but the other AAA, AA lineup and rotation will not stick.......

That has me disappointed.

Yep, I have to commend Knight for coming up with a pretty good fix for this. You can steal with auto baserunning ON AND the patch? How, so, says you can't.

Yeah, I do have to say, you guys worried about Knight's rosters are going a bit overboard. You have to remember, his full minors roster sets have ALWAYS had the historical stats glitch...whether you downloaded them last week or today. It's unfortunate that the patch couldn't just somehow "fix them", but it's not like you lost anything.

I'm just glad the reports of franchises using old rosters crashing was widely exaggerated. That would have destroyed the game for me. But as things stand, we're really in no different position than we were yesterday...and some things actually work better. I would have preferred all this out of the box, but props on what you guys were able to accomplish! Hopefully it's something to learn from moving forward.

Funny stuff i never new I was stealing for the cpu lol.
Gotta agree about the freakout stuff (calm down guys) as im sure we will have some great work arounds from the many talented OS members .

I don't have time to read the full thread so maybe it's been mentioned, but are you guys having a problem with the post game highlights since downloading the patch? Mine don't work anymore.

Pardon my ignorance here, so every RTTS started pre patch will need to be restarted even if said RTTS never crashed ?? Just looking for clarification is all.

Look for the guy in AAA with 11 years of MLB experience you cannot edit his name but it's Millar.
