I am really enjoying how madden is absolutely destroying ncaa in every way. This way the chances of the game actually being worth a buy next year are better... Add this roster incident to the list of why NCAA 10 sucks.

I've looked at the gameplay videos and they both seem pretty identical to me...

It's not surprising when you acknowledge the corporate implications. Even if it is broken, it will be published, even if Tiburon are opposed to that decision. This might have been a mishap by the developers and testers, but they have no authority over the decision to delay the game for qualities sake. All that business comes from the top.

Broken? Inaccurate maybe, but not broken. Broken means that the game doesn't work. I'm just surprised they haven't gone the "they aren't real players" route/cop-out.

You know, even with all this uproar and call for the sacking of every single person associated with '10, I will give some credit to the team if they manage to find a good solution. Yes, there still is a long way to go, but if they manage to get out of this mess then I will give them some respect.

I'm amazed at how it seems like every next-gen NCAA game has had some roster-related major error. The NCAA team hasn't made roster-managing or the shipped rosters workable in what seems like four years.

So you'd give respect to someone who lets say pushed you into water to where you were drowning, but they figured out a way to save you? That makes no sense. They ruined it in the first place, big deal if they fix it.

I didn't think it was possible for a bigger screw-up than last year's roster debacle, but I forgot this was EA with a development team that was clearly not prepared/qualified to start working on the game.

There is clearly a problem within this company that needs addressing. I find it inconceivable that nobody noticed this before finalization.

If they fix it, I'll be glad but I won't congratulate them since they didn't do their job in the first place. I say that EA should take a look at how it runs game development and try to find ways to make sure mistakes like this don't happen again. Also, I think they should fire the game testers for NCAA since they should have at least caught some of the roster mistakes, unless they all played the same teams that were correct and not the lower-rung NCAA teams that seem to be the ones the are completely wrong.

If this had been done by any other person/group in another business, they would more than likely be fired or have a note of reprimand in their records. Nobody on the NCAA team should be congratulated for a job poorly done.

Well a lack of freshman on many of the teams might be a clue? Who does EA have testing for them? Good God I wished I was on this test team wow.

I'm shocked! Well not really considering its EA. Every year new trivial additions. How about making a great playing football game on and offline first. Enough with the fluff. All I have come to expect with EA is new features that I never use and bugs.

I'm not a 2k fanboy either. I preffered Madden. I just want developers to get the foundation right before they add junk on top of it.

Delay the game. The ability to patch has increased laziness IMO. I don't want my hard drive filled with fixes to games.

I'm sorry but I don't see how it makes any sense to purchase this game. If the teams aren't accurate and they can't be without accurate ratings why not just play your favorite NCAA Football of the past? All you have is the Florida logo and the Swamp and no other accuracy, what makes this different from 06? This is a bad joke. No way I will even rent this unless it is made clear that the rosters and teams are accurate.
