Re: Breaking Down Sliders... How They Really Work

I did a full game test with the sliders I posted earlier in the thread that are a hybrid of bill's second "set" of sliders and some tweaks of my own.

First off I will say I need to do more in game testing/tweaking with these sliders but the thing that stands out is the number of turnovers, 7 by Washington and 5 by me (Baltimore).

Now I will say 2 of the interceptions on my side were completely my fault. One was a ball where it just went sailing off target by 10+ yards, the other was one where I was hit.

For the CPU I don't know if it was because of the pressure or because the defenders are reacting to fast for the computer. This is where more testing is needed.

One thing that I do need to do is to lower the fumble slider, there were 3 fumbles in the game (2 by the CPU, 1 by me).

Other than the turnovers things looked really good.

Here are the stats:

Code:
Washington	7	7	0	0	14
Baltimore	0	7	3	21	31

Washington Baltimore
14 Score 31
247 Total Off	354
131 Rush Yds	178
116 Pass Yards	176
12 First Downs	18
0 PR Yds 0
152 KR Yds 64
7 Turnovers	5
5-12 (41%)	3rd down Conv	5-11 (45%)
22:48 Possession	37:12

Passing

Player Team	Rating	Comp	Att	Yds	Comp%	TD	INT
Joe Flacco BAL	54.3	15	26	193	57	1	4

Jason Campbell WAS	16.1	11	27	127	40	0	5

Rushing

Player Team	Att	Yds	Avg	TD
Willis McGahee BAL	16	114	7.1	1
Ray Rice BAL	17	50	2.9	0

Clinton Portis WAS	18	82	4.5	0
Ladell Betts WAS	10	47	4.7	0

Receiving

Player Team	Rec	Yds	Avg	TD
Todd Heap BAL	4	72	18.0	0
Derrick Mason BAL	4	46	11.5	0
MArk Clayton BAL	2	37	18.5	0

Ladell Betts WAS	3	58	19.3	0
Antwaan Randell El	WAS	2	27	13.5	0
Santana Moss WAS	1	16	16.0	0

Sacks:

Baltimore - 2
Washington - 3
Another thing that I need to look at is the fatigue, injury and auto-sub sliders. By the end of the 3rd quarter I a lot of my starters (specifically Ray Rice) never made it back into the game. Same with a lot of Washington's defense which is what led to a lot of Willis McGahee's rushing yards and my 21 points in the 4th quarter.

This game honestly should have ended 17-14 with me having 40 less rushing yards.

There were a lot of injuries as well. It may have only a play or two or a series but I don't think some of these injuries should have happend.
