I am still testing and a complete full set I've actually played with and tweaked is not out yet... however around page 28 you will get basically a non tweaked version (aka the basic principals of my set are there, but the difficulty could be off)
I don't have a page 28. I think I only go up to 9.

I have my settings so that more posts show per page.

Whats the actual post number? I may actually have used your most recent set which may explain why I had such a great game.

Bill understood my post and responded appropriately. Enough said.

Bill took care of Bill and didn't need anyone running to his defense.

Also, had you waited just a few moments before you went off, you would have seen my post that preceeds yours.

On another note: g2, your slider set based on Bill's theories is really good and those were the sliders I liked the most. You and Bill should really just merge into one slider set as they will most likely be similar anyway.

Peace and Respect
Lol...I wasn't being a tough guy bro, I believe I was very amiable in my post...But that's over now...Thanks for trying out my sliders. I agree with you, me and the evil genius Bill should collaborate...lol

Re: Breaking Down Sliders... How They Really Work

I did a full game test with the sliders I posted earlier in the thread that are a hybrid of bill's second "set" of sliders and some tweaks of my own.

First off I will say I need to do more in game testing/tweaking with these sliders but the thing that stands out is the number of turnovers, 7 by Washington and 5 by me (Baltimore).

Now I will say 2 of the interceptions on my side were completely my fault. One was a ball where it just went sailing off target by 10+ yards, the other was one where I was hit.

For the CPU I don't know if it was because of the pressure or because the defenders are reacting to fast for the computer. This is where more testing is needed.

One thing that I do need to do is to lower the fumble slider, there were 3 fumbles in the game (2 by the CPU, 1 by me).

Other than the turnovers things looked really good.

Here are the stats:

Code:
Washington	7	7	0	0	14
Baltimore	0	7	3	21	31

Washington Baltimore
14 Score 31
247 Total Off	354
131 Rush Yds	178
116 Pass Yards	176
12 First Downs	18
0 PR Yds 0
152 KR Yds 64
7 Turnovers	5
5-12 (41%)	3rd down Conv	5-11 (45%)
22:48 Possession	37:12

Passing

Player Team	Rating	Comp	Att	Yds	Comp%	TD	INT
Joe Flacco BAL	54.3	15	26	193	57	1	4

Jason Campbell WAS	16.1	11	27	127	40	0	5

Rushing

Player Team	Att	Yds	Avg	TD
Willis McGahee BAL	16	114	7.1	1
Ray Rice BAL	17	50	2.9	0

Clinton Portis WAS	18	82	4.5	0
Ladell Betts WAS	10	47	4.7	0

Receiving

Player Team	Rec	Yds	Avg	TD
Todd Heap BAL	4	72	18.0	0
Derrick Mason BAL	4	46	11.5	0
MArk Clayton BAL	2	37	18.5	0

Ladell Betts WAS	3	58	19.3	0
Antwaan Randell El	WAS	2	27	13.5	0
Santana Moss WAS	1	16	16.0	0

Sacks:

Baltimore - 2
Washington - 3
Another thing that I need to look at is the fatigue, injury and auto-sub sliders. By the end of the 3rd quarter I a lot of my starters (specifically Ray Rice) never made it back into the game. Same with a lot of Washington's defense which is what led to a lot of Willis McGahee's rushing yards and my 21 points in the 4th quarter.

This game honestly should have ended 17-14 with me having 40 less rushing yards.

There were a lot of injuries as well. It may have only a play or two or a series but I don't think some of these injuries should have happend.

Re: Breaking Down Sliders... How They Really Work

i think i'm just going to turn the fatigue slider down to like 25 until I actually try to figure that one out (or find a set that works)... right now its stupid to put it up if its just going to result in ridiculous substitutions, and I have more important things to work on before i get to it...

so for now, i think i'm just going to have to put it on the back burner

I typed all the stats into notepad with tabs in between then copied into here using the code tags.

What are your thoughts on the number of interceptions by the CPU? I am going to play quite a few more games before I make any changes, especially play against the better quarterbacks in the league. That interception number was shocking though. If I do need to make any changes I think I will start with the interception slider as I really like the work you have done with the wide reciever/corner interaction.

I have noticed though that fast corners (namely DeAngelo Hall) really jump routes quite often even though their OVR is lower than say a Carlos Rodgers who doesn't have the speed, agility and accleration that Hall does yet its a lot easier to hit an out route on Rodgers despite his higher OVR and better man coverage rating.

At first glance it seems that this would be realistic but if you go into practice run an out route against Hall and you will see it is really hard to complete a pass. Then throw it against Rodgers and you will be able to complete the pass regularly. I don't know that there is a fix for this as if you adjust for one the other would always give up the completion. I'm going to watch gome game film to see how quickly a guy like Hall breaks on a ball as opposed to a guy like Rodgers.

It may just be extremely realistic that its a lot harder to complete passes like that against guys like Hall.
