    What if NBA careers.....

Hey guys I was looking at Harwood Classics, and I thought of this question.

If _________ didn't happen to ________, he would have had a better NBA career.

    For instance.......

If a back injury didn't happen to Larry Johnson, he would have had a better NBA career.

    or

If the trade to Cleveland didn't happen to Shawn Kemp, he would have had a better NBA career.
Boy this habit is as bad as dope!!!

If Grant Hill didn't develop injury problems, he was well on his way to being a top 10 player in NBA history.

So true, he was great before the leg problems.

If some *** doesn't give Len Bias coke, the Celtics win a couple more rings and he's a perennial all-star

If someone locks Shawn Kemp's Fridge he's on his way to the Hall of Fame

If Kobe grows up earlier, Shaq is still there and god knows how many rings they'd have

If MJ doesn't play baseball, they 8-peat

If Arvidas Sabonis doesn't stay in Russia so long, he's be a great

          I could go on

If Reggie Lewis doesn't do coke he doesn't have a heart attack.

If the NBA had a 21 and up rule or a true minor league the association wouldn't have had such trouble during the late 1990's and early 2000's.

If Tim Duncan played in LA or New York he would be considered the greatest player ever not named Jordan.

If Shaun Livingston didn't explode his knee we would be talking about the next Magic Johnson right now. He would be better than Paul, Deron or Steve.

Don't know about all THAT (Top 10), but he would have been up there

If Nash and Dirk stay together, they are sitting around right now with rings on their fingers

If Shaq was a career 75 percent from the stripe, we're talking at least 5 scoring titles and a legitimate claim to greatest center of all-time

If Magic doesn't get sick, no one EVER touches the NBA assist record

If 25 years ago NBA teams had the strength and conditioning programs they do now, Ralph Sampson is the dominant force in the 80s

If Stockton and Malone ever had a big time player at the 2 or the 3,they'd be their times answer to what the Celts are now with Allen,Pierce and KG

If Rodman had any offensive game at all and wasn't a mental patient, he'd be in there with Malone and KG as the greatest power forwards ever

If the Vlade for Kobe deal never happens, the Hornets are still here and there are no Bobcats

If Pippen winds up anywhere other than Chicago, no one knows his name

If Bill Cartwright could ever stay healthy, those first Bull title teams have 3 Hall of Famers

Penny stays healthy and we're talking about one of the top 15 guys ever

If Mark Price plays the prime years of his career in the West and away from the Bulls he's maybe not in the same league as Stockton, but he's remembered a lot more

If Jonathan Bender gets better advice, he comes out of college and becomes a solid pro

If the Pistons take Melo over Darko they rattle off 5 or 6 eastern conference titles in a row

If Danny Manning's legs are sound he's Duncan before Duncan

The biggest what if? in basketball, Ready? What if The Blazers chose Michael Jordan instead of Sam Bowie? What if Michael became a Blazer??!!! The Bulls probably don't have any rings, and Portland becomes basketball heaven for Blazer fans. Picture The whole Bulls era nonexistent, It could have happened. I can't even imagine MJ rocking a Rip City uni.

It's a big stretch to imagine MJ in a black, red, and white jersey, eh?
