    West Virginia @ Auburn

Both teams racked up over 500 yards of offense last week, so this could be a shootout.

The country will finally be able to see Pat White's heir Jarrett Brown, who I think will be playing on Sundays next year.

If WVU can cut down on their mistakes (89 penalty yards, four turnovers against ECU), WVU can be really good this year. The defense gave up 20 points last week, but 10 of those points were due to muffed fumble returns which set up ECU inside the 15 yard line and another was due to bad kickoff return coverage and a personal foul penalty setting up ECU inside the WVU 30. ECU only had one drive (A field goal) in which they truly marched down the field for a score.

WVU will need to play some good defense as Auburn's offense, specifically the rushing attack, appears to be lethal.

WVU's transformation is finally complete and this team has a fairly lethal passing attack. No longer is WVU a running team; this is a passing team now. All the trials and tribulations that WVU fans were put through last season by this coaching staff have been settled. It was tough to work in a new system last year and it showed (Plus, Pat White is not an ideal QB for Mullen's offense). But this year, I'm loving the offense and Mullen. Jarrett Brown seems like the perfect fit for the offense as he has a strong arm, a big body that's hard to bring down, is pretty fast, and has great pocket presence. He hasn't been sacked yet in two games.

I worry about this team going on the road, though. This team has only played home games thus far, so I'm a bit worried about how this one will turn out, especially since Chizik seems to have Auburn heading in the right direction. Jarrett Brown played great in his only high-profile road start, winning in three overtimes at Rutgers in 2006, but let's be honest, playing at Rutgers is nothing like playing at Auburn as far as the atmosphere and crowd goes.

Anyways, I like WVU by a touchdown or so with both teams scoring in the 30s. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes either way, especially if WVU cannot stop Auburn's rushing attack.

    I like Auburn big

    1. Our defense is impregnable

    2. Our style is impetuous

    3. Our running backs originate from the Murderland, Canada, and the Mushroom Kingdom

    4. West Virginia cannot handle the humidity

    5. Your track record is terrible

    DOES WEST VIRGINIA ENJOY LOSING?

Both teams will put up points, but I think Auburn will win by a comfortable margin.

We'll see, though. I don't like to be overconfident, I just love how we're looking right now.

BTW, here's the highlights of the ECU/WVU game. Notice the deep routes. Auburn better cover those better than ECU did yesterday.

ECU isn't Auburn on defense. And we aren't going to be in Morgantown. We'll be in Jordan Hare Stadium, at night. I like our odds in that scenario.

I think this game will be tough, but I do think Auburn will win, by 2 TDs or more in the end.

The Auburn backfield of Burns, Fannin, McCalebb, and Tate..a "4 headed monster" will once again go over 300 yards rushing combined.

The rest of the CFB world is going to take notice of Auburn very soon.

I think Auburn comes to close to dropping 50 again.

            I say 49-24.

Let's hope WVU proves to be a team with a pulse and we actually see what Auburn is capable of on offense and defense. Funny how wins over two mediocre on their best days teams can inflate a fan base's expectations and perceptions.

We know. Bama is good. We've heard from all the Bammers that ya'll are back. 36-0 is on the beginning. We'll never win again until Saban leaves.

You'll get an up close and personal view of just what the Auburn offense is capable of in November.

Until then...congrats on beating a one dimensional Va Tech squad from the worst BCS conference in existence and the mighty FIU Panthers.

You bashed this coaching staff of Auburn's all off-season and then after blowout wins against "Mistake' and Louisiana Tech you start singing a completely different tune...

Lol, then should we say congrats on beating a mighty LaTech team that went on to get rocked by Navy as well, and an SEC bottom feeding Misstake squad that still managed to pt up 24 on that impregnable defense (I'm guessing Cebby was joking around though)?

True. But Mississippi State and Louisiana Tech aren't WVU, either. Neither team has played any good teams and this will be a good barometer game for both schools.

I'm not talking about just this season.

Much like your nonsense about how Auburn fans should be quiet since we lost the Iron Bowl, you've hyped up meaningless wins before.

Auburn fans should be quiet. The fanbase had the guru last season and now the genius this season.
