I love, I mean LOVE 2k8. I do not have 2k10 yet so I am hopping to hear what people think when comparing the 2. Please do honest because you can save me $65 bucks.

ouch..and yeah I haven't been able to connect to the servers once since I got it.
Now to answer the question, I never played 2K8 for PS3, only for PS2. At the time, it was the greatest PS2 basketball game I'd played(surpassing NBA Live 06), but then I got College Hoops 2K8 and it was incredible. But based on the demos I've played of NBA Live 09 and 10 for PS3, and I own NBA 2K9 and 2K10 for PS3, 2K10 is by far the best basketball game I've played.
Funny thing, over in the Live forums, they have a similar poll topic to this with most people calling Live the greatest basketball game EVER...hahaLast edited by st0rmb11; 10-08-2009, 05:20 PM.

2k6(Xbox) = Good
2k6(360) = Interesting
2k7 = Great
2k8 = Terrible
2k9 = Good/okay(game clearly wasn't finished)

Even with the server issues this game is outstanding. No way to compare it on the same level with 2K8 IMO. I just hope they keep this formula for 2K11 and continue to expand.Comment
