Not yet, more will follow tomorrow. I am not able to post stats still today. Hope some of you guys can test and post them here. I am in Europe and already late in the evening here...

In version 0.2 I upped the Backdoor cuts back to 40/40 with the philosophy to not make the CPU offense too predictable. Furthermore some little tweaks +5 and -5...

            Version 0.5 released..
            Stats will follow later today..

Reworked the set, removed quitte some sliders to leave them on default. Furthermore added the quickness and gamespeed concept found by Playmakers. I want to try it with player speed (which can only be adjusted pre-game in season and association mode) on default.

Re: NBA 2K10 Gameplay Sliders PuntNL

Ok just had my a game on my v0.5 sliders playing 10 minute quarters. I was blown out by the Grizzlies playing as the Knicks. I had some real difficulty in the first half (63-43) playin good defense, probably because I have been switching between Live and 2K. Best way to get good D was to control one of my guards in defense and not switching all the time. Second half (35-34) was a lot better defensively from my side. Missed a lot of midrange shots leading to relative high PiP. CPU still feeding the ball a lot into the paint. Comments are more than welcome, so are stats from other games with my sliders :-)... This thread is kinda getting a monologue

                Here are the stats:

These look pretty promising. I'm gonna give them a shot, and post stats when I'm through playing.

EDIT: Well, I only had a chance to play the first half of a "Quick Play" game... Toronto(me) at New Jersey(cpu). I'm down big, 51-31, but I don't feel like I've played as bad as the score indicates. I''m just shooting poorly, missing quite a few open jumpers. Anyway, I don't have the ability to post a stat screenshot right now, but here's our FG%...

                  FG: 15/43 34% for me
                  FG: 23/43 53% for cpu

All in all the sliders play well, although we only had 4 foul shots between the both of us, so I might bump up the foul sliders. Also, I'll probably bump up the defensive assist, because I'm just not that good at playing D. But other than that, they're pretty good, so far.

Yes bumping both commit fouls tendency and the shooting fouls will be in the next update I think. Thanks for posting so far. Would be nice if you still have the time later, to see more stats of you with these sliders... Did you like the flow and speed of the game? Did you enjoy it?

As for playing D, I recommend you playing D only with the PG, or at least most of the time and not changing players along the ball movement. It's something I tried to do with my game (grizzlies @knicks) and during the 2nd half I got the advantages of it. Its some getting used to, but its for the better..

I'll get a full game in sometime tonight and post full stats. I really like the flow and speed of the game with these sliders... I've really bought into the minimal slider adjustment theory.

I have found that I play defense better when I control the PG, but I don't have as much fun. I control the PF about 95% of the time, only switching to quickly get out to challenge a wide open jumper. When I played basketball in real life, I was a PF... so it's more fun for me to play the PF position in the game. I just need to work on my D. Playing with a better defensive team than the Raptors might help as well.

Yeah of course, its about having fun. I only think using the PG will give you the easiest way to stable defense. Have to agree with you that using the PF or SF will give a more interesting challenge: defending post ups, contesting shots, boxing out and rebounding..

In the pre-game screen (only in season mode and association) by pressing triangle on PS3. However for now I have these sliders with player speed on default. Only game speed to 48, which can be altered in the gameplay settings...

Looking forward to your guys stats! Thanks for testing!

Great Job PuntNL. Getting realistic stats in 5 games in a row. However, im playin on Hall of fame coz its simply to izi for me @ allstar/superstar. Im thinking tho to adjust cpu offense ratings to match human's. (42,42,47,48). Glad u just made only the crucial changings @ sliders without breaking any of the game flow. I'll continue playin with ur sliders and im lookin forward for any possible changes that would make it even better, although its just fine as it is. (Im playing 12min quarters).

                            Cheers.

I finished a full game, Cleveland (ME) vs. New Orleans (CPU)

I did bump up the foul sliders that were set at 75 to 85, and changed commit foul slider to 80 for me and 75 for cpu, but there still weren't enough fouls. I played much better defensively, but then again I was using a much better defensive team this time.

The game felt great, even if some of the stats were off. The hornets just couldn't stop LeBron from driving the lane. He scored 41 points and was the main reason for all my points in the paint and high FG%. And my dominance on the boards was due to my high FG%.

I think I'm gonna start an association with these sliders... the only thing I think needs help is the lack of fouls, and possibly moving the stamina slider down to 48 for both me and the cpu.
