A girl I went to HS who was in my history class said this and this was just AFTER she read in the book that DC was the National Capital.

Was watching a football game with some friends and a couple girls. One girl asked, "Can the players see the lines on the field?" She was referring to the line of scrimmage, first down line, etc.

Well it's not spoken word but, read my sig.

-One time I had to call customer service about my computer. The guy asked where I was calling from and I said "Washington." He then says "Ahhh yes, the capital..." No moron, there is an actual state of Washington.

-An intern that worked for our team last year thought Jay-Z's lyrics were "I got 99 problems, being rich ain't one."

-One of our owners, during a fantasy football draft, knew NOTHING about football and asked if "T. Brady was a good pick."

-"I'm going to University of Washington."
