If that is the complete (release) list of features for this year, then count me as extremely dissapointed and disheartened.
I know the presentation has taken a huge upturn, and for that, I applaud the dev staff. However, that seems to be the ONLY thing they have improved on. Nothing about recruiting, nothing about dynasty improvements, nothing about online dynasty, among many many others have posted.
I was willing to give a pass for no online dynasty, but not for the lack of revamping offline dynasty. It was terrible last year, and one of the main reasons i exchanged the game within 2 days.
I hope, i really do hope, i am jumping the gun here, and they are very near putting out all of the above features mentioned.
-True Home Court Advantage
NCAA Basketball 10 features the 20 Toughest Places to Play voted by you, the fans, as the most hostile and intimidating environments in college basketball.
This has been in NCAA football for years now, and rarely has anything to do with anything, in game.
-All-New Dynamic Updates
Enjoy a true-to-life college basketball experience as real-life RPI ratings and stats from every Division I school are imported in-game weekly-absolutely free!
Pretty cool i guess, but how does it impact games, dynasty etc? any impact?
-Gameplay and Visual Enhancements
Make a run for the Final Four with more than 100 improvements, including player movement, rebounding, off-ball collisions, alley-oops, size-ups, and more.
These are good, but should they really be part of your feature list? You are trying to sell a product here to people who track your product yearly, this is to be expected, not appreciated as an improvement.
-Deeper In-Game Strategy
Improved Coach Feedback System and Team Tempo Control enables you to execute your gameplan to perfection.
WTH is this? 99% of all players that play this game will use their own strategy.... again, not that big of a deal in my opinion.
-Signature Motion Offenses
Each school brings a different flavor to the court in NCAA Basketball 10 with signature motion offences, including the Dribble Drive, Princeton and Zone Motion. Play to your school's strengths and use ‘motion movement control' to open up scoring opportunities with the touch of a button.
I like this one. Nothing urks me more than having duke or NC come to town, and have them run plays that do not mimic the teams in real life. Both of the above teams I mentioned run up-tempo offenses, and should be reflected in game as they are in real life, so the more of this stuff you can add/improve on is a good thing.
What else? most of this stuff is fluff, for the love of all that is good in the world, where are the rest of the features. I hope I eat my words, but if this is it, then No way in heck i'll be buying it.
