Re: PlayoffProblem.com
This is a joke. Embarrassing.
I love how they are trying to say a playoff shouldnt happen because who would make it to the playoffs Pitt of GT and seeding would be too hard.
Yeah, because seeding teams is much much worse then leaving out 3 possible undefeated teams in the NC.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Yep, because it's such a problem for every other league/association/division in the world.
What a joke.I write things on the Internet.

I like how it talks about the excitement of matching up the #1 and #2 teams. Too bad it rarely does that.Comment

"It’s Fair: Every conference has an opportunity to earn annual automatic qualification into the BCS. At the beginning of every season, every team has an opportunity to earn a spot in a BCS Game, including the National Championship Game."
Hmm...tell that to Cincinnati, TCU, and Boise this year. And countless number of teams in previous years.
LOL at its fair.

Re: PlayoffProblem.com
I heard about this site on ESPN Radio this week...I think it is being put out by the PR firm the BCS hired.
What kills me is that even if you took only 8 teams for a playoff, that's 6 fewer teams that are disappointed. I don't know how they can say that a playoff would make more teams disappointed."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. Pretty easy to connect the dots. This is the kind of garbage PR firms are paid to put out.Last edited by Chip Douglass; 11-29-2009, 02:38 AM.I write things on the Internet.

Re: PlayoffProblem.com
Why don't we just either
A) Have a playoff
or
B) Keep the BCS, go through the rankings, then have #1 vs #2, #3 vs #4, #5 vs #6 and so on for each of the five games to make me actually care about all five games. Screw the tie-ins, I just wanna watch a good game.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

If this is financed at all by the BCS, the mere existence of this site shows they know the end is coming.Comment
