The official MLB 2k10 HELP/FAQ Thread...

Alright everyone this thread is to post information that can help the community with stuff that might not be in the manual as well as TIPS for the community on how to have a better experience with 2k10.

This should also help keep the forum clutter free. (Sticky would be great)

I will try to update this post as stuff comes-in:

Viewing your Pitcher Warming-Up in the Bullpen: This is done just like it was in 2K9. Once in the Substitution Screen (via the D-PAD) after you begin warming up your pitcher press Y on the controller.

Pitching-Out: After you have selected your Pitch (via the button) before going into your gesture press X on the controller

Does this game offer auto fielding or auto baserunning?

NO to Auto-Base Running. As for Fielding I will say YES to a certain extent. It seems like it begins the movement towards a ball for you but @ some point you have to manually control your player

Thanks. I hardly ever read instruction manuals, so it always takes a bit for me to figure out everything. I was wondering how to pitch-out.

I dont this option exist which is mind boggling in this game i try to find it, usually i put it on assist dont really want the cpu to take full control on it.

Wait quick ? how do you manual catcher suggestion the location of pitch. I know you could of done this in previous version of mlb2k.

Thanks for the quick response! How about batting? Is there an option just to mash a button, or do you have to choose what type of swing and aim your shot with the stick?

You can chose CLASSIC Hitting & Pitching (Both use buttons) When hitting you can also use the L-STICK to direct where you want the ball to once hit.

UP: Fly Ball DOWN: Ground Ball LEFT: Left side of the Field RIGHT: Right side of the field

Is there a way to use classic hitting but analog pitching when playing online? I couldn't figure out a way to do this.

Can anyone tell me how to save my Camera Settings? Every time I load my game, my Camera Settings revert back to DEFAULT.

Right now I'm only playing Quick Games as I'm getting use to the NEW Hitting Mechanic

Did you save your settings? btw, why work on hitting in a quick game? The drills game mode let's you work on everything. It's helped me out a lot. Especially with power swing timing.

Does anyone know how to turn off what pitch it tells you to throw? I like calling my own game.

PS I already have the catcher suggestion option off.

Can you completely remove the large fielding shadow on the field also?

So if I save my settings before I exit out of the game, will allow me to save my camera settings?

Yeah Joe you should save ur settings before you exit. If you have a franchise going, the camera you use in your franchise should save when you save your franchise, so i don't think there is a need to save your setting when in franchise or my player. I would save the settings like i said if you are playing exhibition games

I haven't started a Franchise yet, but it's good to know the Camera Settings save when you save save in Franchise..
