Players get a generic face when called up in franchise. It's not just limited to being called up either, 4 of my players have now been infected by it who have been on the major league roster the whole time. This is getting really annoying.

When you turn off catcher suggestions you don't see the box anymore showing where to place the pitch but you still see a suggested pitch highlighted. Is this normal?

Okay, so I was fortunate enough to have made a backup save of my franchise before ever playing a game. So I had a feeling spring training was the reason everyone(not everyone, but there were at least 8 or 9) slowly was becoming generic bald guys. I made two more backup saves of the backup save just to be safe, and then I went ahead and tested calling up and sending guys down during the regular season. First, sent down some of the guys from the mlb who I had the glitch with and called up some guys from AAA who I experienced the glitch with. Played first two innings getting everyone in the game to make sure they were not generic, none were, simulated to the end of the game. Simmed a few games, called all of the guys I sent down up, and sent down guys who I've never experienced the glitch with. Played first inning of two games, getting everyone in the game and no one was a generic bald guy.

I could just be getting lucky here, but my hope is that spring training is just F'ed up and I can avoid the glitch by avoiding spring training. Oh well, time will tell, time to start my franchise.

CPU can't handle a pitching staff. Plus, stamina doesn't mean anything nor do pitch counts. I've had 170 pitch complete games thrown against me in My Player mode.

I don't know if it is a "bug", but it does really hinder playing a game against by buddy in the same room. Even if I don't throw the suggested pitch, it's still unfair to him to have to block out or trust the suggestion.

And that's not to mention that the "ball cursor" has no "off" option... which makes us have to move it around a bit before it disappears.

Unless I'm missing some preference options, these to me are "bugs" or oversights.

When playing in "My Player" mode, the video boards and ribbon boards are just black. No pictures or animations in both AA and MLB. They do work in "Play Now" mode. I have not looked at franchise or any other mode, however.

Small glitch I noticed in a game last night. I used the DBax 1998 throw back uni's (away, to be exact) and the batting helmets, despite having the correct 1998 logo, were red instead of black. All of the dbax players had red trim items, such as undershirts as well.

Anyone else notice alt uni's with this issue?

Not sure if this qualifies as a "glitch"..... maybe closer to an abomination.

1 on, 1 out, top 3rd, Cards vs Reds, franchise mode.

Colby Rasmus hits into a routine 6-4-3 double play. Cabrera throws to second. Phillips is taken out by the slide but still gets the throw to first. Both runners are safe, even though the runner at 2nd was clearly out.

The game apparently realizes this mistake, because before the next batter can take a breath in the batters box, Arroyo fires a pickoff throw to 2nd base while Holliday stands between 2nd and third, then decides to run towards third.


Here's what is wrong:

1. Holliday was out at 2nd base on the double play. The game called him safe.
2. Arroyo didn't come anywhere near set before picking him off. That is a balk. Also, the game gave me zero time to react. The fielder was standing at 2nd base for the start of the next batter.


What I think might have caused it:

1. The game has some sort of workaround on missed out calls, picking off the runners that are supposed to be out. (really, really, really hope not, because that would mean this is intentional)

or

2. The next batter, yadier molina, had a pull shift on the infield. The result was that Brandon Phillips was standing right next to 2nd base. Meanwhile, Holliday's leadoff gave him no chance to get back. He would have had to take 5 steps to get back, all Phillips had to do was catch and tag.


I'm leaning towards number 2 as the cause.

The nice thing I have noticed so far is that most of these glitches seem like they can be patched easily.

So I can across a glitch last night, which was kind of odd. I am planning on starting my franchise, after the first patch is released.


But I was playing as the Philadelphia Phillies and taking on the Brewers.

Rollins hit a grounder between 1st and 2nd, more towards second and Prince Fielder dove for it and got it. But instead of running a normal pace, he got up super fast and took two REALLY quick steps and then ran normally back to 1st and got the out himself.

Not sure if this is a glitch but has anyone seen the sports ticker actually work. I have it set to show scores from within by franchise and over ten games in I have yet to see any ticker / scores.
