Just keep trying to hit one out to dead center. There's no strategy... Eventually one will drop in and hit the apple. In my case I went over it and it bounced back into the hole and hit the apple... just need some patience.

Ha, did it like 3 minutes after you posted that.
Tried to get the quality start one, but with 5 2/3 IP, my pitcher decided to give up back to back jacks. Good one.Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.
You too can be a 5* recruit at FSU.......

Re: MLB '10: The Show Trophy List w/ Descriptions
Question for anyone that knows. In regards to the Road Warrior trophy, it states that you have to win 10 road games in a row and that simulating or fast forwarding resets your progress but does simulating home games effect it as well or just road games? Logic tells me that simulating home games wont matter since it doesnt make a difference in terms of the trophy but at the same time Im not sure since the description is slightly vague. If anyone has maybe gotten this trophy or knows someone who has and can answer this question it would be greatly appreciated.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Trophy List w/ Descriptions
I got the RTTS Road Warrior trophy (not the normal Road Warrior), and I simulated a couple home games in between. I can't say for sure, but I'd guess that the same would apply to the normal Road Warrior trophy.Question for anyone that knows. Re: MLB '10: The Show Trophy List w/ Descriptions
The unassisted double play trophy. I can't get it. I'm the 2nd baseman and I tag the runner and the run to first and the announcer even says that I turned an unassisted double play but no trophy. What does it take to get.Comment

I think the trophy is for an unassisted triple play.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: MLB '10: The Show Trophy List w/ Descriptions
I've heard it only triggers when you tag the runner or the base after catching a line drive. That's the realistic way most unassisted double plays happen.
And no, this isn't for a triple play. That's another trophy.Comment

Thats how I obtained mine the other night was on a liner and applied tag on the runnerComment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Trophy List w/ Descriptions
Just did the all around the world trophy.
And hit 2 HRs with Jason Bay in the Derby at Citi Field into the apple, got the trophy.
The difficulty must be on All-Star or higher to get most of the trophies.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Trophy List w/ Descriptions
You are correct. That is a true unassisted double play.
Tagging and throwing to a base to get a force out is an "assist" and a "put out" by the receiving baseman who has his foot on the bag for the force.
That is why people are not getting it to work. It needs to be unassisted. As in the RTTS player makes both "put outs".Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
