Miami Trades: James Jones, 2010 and 2011 second round picks
Toronto Trades: Jose Calderon

Miami is looking to build itself into a powerhouse, and they are looking to be the only real winners of the 2010 offseason (at least out of the teams that went all-or-nothing) by signing Chris Bosh and extending Dwayne Wade. Now they make another bold move by adding some salary to obtain a starting calibre pure PG, and somebody who Bosh is used to playing with.

The Raptors shed ~5m in annual salary, plus get rid of a bad contract which was tied to a player that didn't seem like he would succeed there any longer. Also, I made my own little note that the 2011 second rounder is a "conditional" pick. I Calderon makes the all-star team during the 2010-2011 season then the pick will turn into a lottery-protected first rounder.
