not to sound mean or anything, but your skill level is your issue. Without GP, u hit poorly, and because of that, u gain an advantage over the cpu by using GP....so now u hit better
My opinion has NOTHING to do with having fun and enjoying the game. I have said that in just about every post i made in this thread.
As for your comment about playing real baseball....cmon dude. You have to ask yourself why u play any sports game....some people play them for a sim experience thats like the real thing.....if thats your goal, well then GP means your not achieving that goal

Ok I correct stealing signs comment (although you don't need a runner on second to steal signs) and replace it with tipping pitches. It happens all the time.
As for your skill comment, you obviously didn't read what I wrote or you wouldn't have said that my skill is better with GP on. I said that I sucked with using it. I don't use it and now I hit better. Exact opposite of what you said.
If I follow your logic, then there is nothing in this game that is a realistic sim. Batting from third person view gives you an unfair advantage. You don't get to see the plate at all when you swing the bat. Hell, you don't even have to swing a bat in this game, meaning pushing a button just isn't the same as having to swing a 2 pound piece of lumber. You also aren't going to throw out your back or obliques if you swing and miss. I mean where do you want to draw the line?
The other issue is how to pick up pitches on this game without GP? in MVP 05 they did the color thing. In real life you get the spin, grip, threads, etc. On this game you don't get any of that. Instead it is much more of a read and react. Now I am not a fan of the big flashing red on the screen, one reason why I stopped using it, but you can't come on here and state it isn't realistic when really the whole game isn't a realistic representation.
