COACH GEEZY IN THE BIG EASY PART III: LEGACY | FROM BOURBON ST. TO THE BAYOU -
Great stuff guys, this is exactly what I was talking about. Deegeezy, I understand that it's an option but not everyone has the A. memory to do that and B. time to do that (writing them down)Comment

In your scenario, the prospect would be ready to commit to the CPU team and both teams would have a full interest meter.Comment

Re: Dynasty Musings: NCAA Football 11 Recruiting Tips
..
Something that has helped me remember recruits' "likes" is simply reading what they say after each pitch. I know a lot of people just quickly press the button to move on to the next topic but taking your time to read what they're saying not only helps you remember what they like, but you also start to associate a bit of a personality with the player, thus making the overall dynasty experience even more enjoyable.
.
Yeah, that would actually be a wonderful feature. Add a little role-playing aspect to the sports genre.
Unfortunately, these comments are mostly random and disassociated. I got sick of seeing "More talk about you? Boring." in a Coach Prestige or Coach Experience pitch.
Then ..
I look up to see:
Interest : Most
+97
Wha?
There is no rhyme nor reason to the entire leg of the simulation. I'm convinced there is an AI to it .. to "game" or "fix" The Roulette .. and generally the whole process is random, at best.
The visits have no logical meaning. The scholarship offers have no logical reason. The points have no logical meaning. You'll get who the computer dam well gives you and you'll like it. The rest is just mental candy and window dressing. A lot like "Lemmings" actually. Pointless but intriguing.

Re: Dynasty Musings: NCAA Football 11 Recruiting Tips
Thanks. Is there a limit of one instant commit per week, assuming you have one or more recruits #1? Or is it possible to get multiple instant commits one week with two or more #1 recruits?Comment

Re: Dynasty Musings: NCAA Football 11 Recruiting Tips
Yeah I did the early scholarship offer strategy the past couple of seasons and the results have been less than desired. I find myself not being able to sign players until the last couple of weeks in the season and in the off-season where as the CPU is signing guys every week.
I think there is a reason that the "offer scholarship" call option is in the game and that reason is NOT to use it right out of the gates.
Only time I will use it early from now on is if I have a substantial deficit on a player or if I am not on his Top 10 list at all and I want to quickly make up ground.Click here to read my dynasty report:

Re: Dynasty Musings: NCAA Football 11 Recruiting Tips
There is no limit you can get several instant commits per week msot of them will come in the first few weeks of the season. So its important to put any guy who has you #1 on his list on your board. Im a 5* school this year and signed alot of people this year that was 3* who had me #1. Just from keeping them on my board and offering them a scholorship. The CPU doesn't start recruiting the lower ranked guys till midseason.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: Dynasty Musings: NCAA Football 11 Recruiting Tips
If you save right before you call the players you will get different results every time you you reload.
I have done this with different teams and reloaded over and over to see what would happen. I have seen 0 to 6 instant commits in week one with the exact same recruiting list.
All players had me #1 as well. And it does not seem to matter if you are Texas or Utah.Comment
