Catch Up Logic - EXTREMELY frustrating

I've been ahead three games now and then the fourth quarter comes up and wala - your team can't do crap. I'm only playing at the pro level, as of now I'm 0-3 in my franchise using the Grizzlies. I appreciate the AI, though it gets over the top on some things making sure it catches up to you. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm the opposite. I usually start out slow then come back against the CPU.

What type of affect does clutch have? As posted earlier I tried taking the ball to the rim, to the tune of 37 out of 42 free throws - which is a lot, and still lost, hahaha. What gives?

Do you mean clutch OFF or one of the sliders down to zero from 50 for Clutch?

I do both.

I just always turn it off in 2K games.

I never notice these problems.

Just won by 9 and there was no comeback at all.

If you turn clutch factor off, do you still need the clutch slider at zero?

I kill the clutch sliders and option as soon as I get 2k lol.....takes care of most of the nonsense...

I must have been mistaken. I always thought "clutch" factor referred to Mike Jordan's ability to drain an 18 footer with 0.6 left on the game clock, not an entire team goin' beast in the fourth quarter to ruin your six point lead. Has there ever been any confirmation that "clutch" does in-fact mean teams get a fourth quarter boost?

I always thought "clutch" factor referred to Mike Jordan's ability to drain an 18 footer with 0.6 left on the game clock, not an entire team goin' beast in the fourth quarter to ruin your six point lead. Has there ever been any confirmation that "clutch" does in-fact mean teams get a fourth quarter boost?
